After the fall of the roman empire Paris have been devastated by barbarian invasions. A first surrounding wall have been built thanks to the rocks taken of the roman arenas, this surrounding wall have been destroyed later but it’s materialised by some stones in “ la rue de la colombe”. In the third century Christianity appears in Paris Since 52 BC and 890 Paris undergo lots of invasion and is devastated each time. Finally King Philippe Auguste orders the building of a surrounding wall that is finish in 1213. ...If you are a night clubber i'm sure that you have to go to LES BAINS DOUCHes this is one of the most famous dance club of Paris. That is in the center of paris.. It's a bit like in the movies there is a lot of people of the security at the enter and a lot of Physionomists who tell who can enter ... or not . The club is the center of paris, don't go before 1' oclock... 'cause before there is not a lot of clubers in . But after 12 there is no Metro in bus and no bus anymore , so you have to take a taxi, walk, or wait for the night bus. That is really chic ! And it's pretty hard to enter in if you don't know anyone in, and if you are not super pretty girl. In there is a great ambiance and a lot of girls. For boy it's better to wear a costume and for girls they just have to be pretty and sexy in what they wear. The club... Read review

...the real action only takes place at 2 pm and 6 pm. We stood next to an American family and they seemed to be quite disappointed when nothing much happened when the clock struck 1 pm. Back to our walk…we continued to walk from the Les Halles area towards Place de la bastille and this part of the city is called Marais. The streets are narrow and it seems very quiet at least if you are coming from the Les Halles area. I think this is Paris' jewish quarter - some good falafel shops too. On the way we passed by Musée Picasso, maison de Victor Hugo but we only stopped at place des Vosges which was Paris very first square built in 1609. This used to be the home for the aristocracy but today it is just a nice symmetrical square where people enjoyed the spring sun, relaxed on benches while the kids where playing in the sand box or playing football...
