I went in 2009 with my friend and her parents. We did go in October so my experience is probably not the one you'd like but hey-ho. We got there and instantly fell in love. It isn't that far from the town centre, by a -what looked like- tractor with a big trailer thing, service. Admittedly the trailer bit was a bit cramped but it was nice seeing Belek. Me and my friend stayed in a bungalow and so did her parents. Me and my friend's bungalow was very nice, bathroom was cute and clean and we got clean towels everyday. Her parents bedroom was just the same except her little brother came with us and he was only a baby so needed a cot. Bearing in mind this was 3 years ago, the cot looked like a small cage for an animal. It wasn't a cot at all! Luckily I wasn't staying in it.
The hotel was large and very pretty with all the shrubs and trees and flowers. Very well kept. The spa centre was to die for. Everyday I went in the sauna, steam room and plunge pool. A very nice heated indoor swimming pool which was nice seeing as we went in the colder months (even though it wasn't cold at all!). The hammocks and beds were cool, I was fascinated with them, haha. I liked the whole bridge idea leading to the beach, that was gorgeous. Very pretty at night. Water sports on the beach kept us all amused. It was a very good experience for someone of my age (13 at the time) and i'd still go back today.
The restaurants were very nice, we tried the Asian one and mostly the buffet restaurant. They had a wide range of desserts and food options every night. The staff were lovely and we quickly made friends :)
We didn't really go to many of the evening shows because we were by the pool talking to people or in the games room playing pool of table tennis.
A very good experience for families, couples and maybe even those alone. Can't wait to go there again!

What a shame the water slide was closed when you were there - it looks like fun. Nice insight, and welcome to Ciao.
