THE PORTALA PALACE "if you don't go to potala palace ,you will never understand how pious our tibetans are ."said one Tibetan guide. you pay your attention to the floor of podala,its as smooth as the best silk of china ,made of red clay and the so called "suyou"which is the daily food of tibetan.100 kg of milk can only produce 5kg "suyou",however the Tibetans always give the best "suyou "they made to the potala temple -----for maintaining the smooth of floor ,lighting and lamas’ daily eating. HERE IS THE NOTICE Don't follow any travel agency while visiting the podala palace if possible! There is a time restriction for the travelling agencies, so they must take you out of the palace in only one hour or the guide would be punished, but if you buy the ticket by yourself ,there will be no time restriction. You can stay as long as you wish though you have to fix the ticket in advance. P.S.The night sight of podala palace square is also great!
THE MUSEUM OF TIBET The pordala palace has lots of treasure, but there are more in the museum of Tibet which are rarely seen. In China’s most museums ,they just give out some copies of the treasures ,in order to protect them, even the famous “forbidden palace” is also full of copies. But the museum of Tibet is different. There are only 3 of the presented are copies, so if you want to understand the culture of Tibet, just go to the museum, if you want to see the unique treasures ,which are in distinctive shapes that only can be seen in Tibet, just go to the museum, the good news is, from this year ,its totally free for visiting!
A TEMPLE IN THE BUSY STREET ,BUT HARDLY KNOWN BY ANY We didn’t go to the most famous temple of Tibet ,we want to see something different ,not only a temple filled with crowd. I found a place called”xiami temple”. The Buddhist classics are printed there. When we arrived there early in the morning ,the lamas are reciting scriptures. There was no need to buy a ticket to get in this small temple, but we become not sure if we can interrupt the lamas ,when they are doing their morning class in a rather serious attitude. There was hardly anyone except the lamas inside, so we got no one to ask. At that moment ,we noticed a lama who was waving to us, his gesture told us its ok to come in.. The sweet smell of milky tea spread all over the temple, the lamas were very kind ,though no body stopped reciting, they told us we can visit anywhere we want. The temple was very old, built in 1943,all the Buddha’s are rather vivid, but the most surprising one was the candelabra, with a lid like stuff over it, which is moving slowly in a circle, but I can’t tell why it is moving. We heard it later that the “xiami”temple is the highest seat of educational institution of Tibet Buddhism, transportation Its rather tough to buy a train ticket to Tibet from July to October since it’s the peak period of Tibet,but,of course, its also the best time: you can enjoy the fantastic scenery with a proper temprature,and the road won’t be blocked because of the snow. There are two trains to Tibet ,one of them started from Guangzhou,the other started from Beijing. The advantage of using a train is that you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries on the way ,I think the expectation is also kind of beautiful memory. Disadvantage is also obvious,2 days train trip would get you completely exhausted,but there is another way which cost the most can help you having a good trip, first get a plane from Beijing to Xining(西å®)in Qinghai province of china, then take the train from Xining to Tibet, since the most beautiful scenery is on that part ,including the famous Hoh xil and the 'Tang-ku-la Mountains, and you can only see the creatures, the so called “Tibetan antelope” by train (The creatures don’t always show up though) Then ,if you want to use the air transportation, you must aware that you got a much shorter time to adapt the highland so your reaction to it may be higher than the people who chose train.

in tibet ,one of the best places you should pay a visit is potala palace IN lHASA, this building was built very large ,high ,and capacious. according to the history record,this palace is built for wen cheng prince by a king in tang dynasty .this building combine both tibet character and main plain of china characters.it have a very high value in the history.
if you would like to have a visit ,you can get there by air ,or bu train ,last year ,the trainway from bejing to Lhasa was built.
as the Tibet is very high,so it lack of oxygen,and will make you a hard breath,so must sure you are in good healthy .it is better that you can prapare some medicine.
in tibet ,you can have a wonderful experiences.

An absolutely beautiful religious site from the outside and inside. After the steep entrance fee and the wait in line to be one of the 750 people allowed to visit in the day it was all worth it. Outside it stands gloriously and its truly a work of art. Holding inside some of Tibets and buddhisms greatest treasures and greatest leaders. The Statues and miniature figures inside are well worth a look as they are some of the most sacred in buddhism. The tombs of the 13th dalai lama are a must see encrusted in priceless tibetan gems and minerals same goes for the stupa there made out of solid gold. When i was there there were many Tibetans and buddhists paying tribute to what i beleive to be on of the best buddist wonder of the world. ...

if you come to tibet and have a visit if you can not come to sera temple, i think it is a great pity. if you plan to sera monastery, you can get beijing city,chengdu ciy,chongqing city by air from oversea,then can go Lhasa by train.it will take you about 700 RMB to arrive in Lhasa from chengdfu city,or chongqing city.as a new railway to Lhasa is build and opend last year.so it is not so difficult to reach there as before.sera monastery look very beautifull ,it combine the buddhism character and middle part of old china building and have a high historic
