Lido Palace, Camp de Mar

Advantages: Its safe, fun and very family friendly
Disadvantages: More expensive due to a weak pound currently .

...My family and I have visited Jesolo twice in the last 4 years. Here are our thoughts on Lido De Jesolo: It has been and in some respects rightly called the Blackpool of the Adriatic. I can see why people would say that. Its a family resort primarily and has lots of shops and local traders all plying for your euros. There however the similarity ends. Jesolo is wonderful. Its clean, vibrant, hospitable and family orientated. Without doubt the place to go with a young family if you want a bit on sun, sand and entertainment. I was shocked on our first night ot as the main road closed to vehicles in the evening. We just strolled along taking in the atmosphere, you still have to avoid the numerous cycles though. Advantages: great for walks and very friendly.....
Disadvantages: getting used ot the coastal railway, very close to it...

...I think that Malgrat De Mar is an awesome place, I really missed out last year not going. Me and my family used to go for a month or so in the six weeks holiday and we'd meet up with my aunty who lives in Barcelona and her friends and some of the family would come over too, got a little hectic though as there were 14 people top in one flat, only 3 bedrooms lol. Malgrat is perfectly situated, and its not a far to get to eh train station. From the train station you can travel to the many more places along the coast due to it being a coastal railway. These places include places like Llorett de mar, Blanes, Canet de mar, Pineda, Calella, San Pol de mar, Arenys de mar and Tossa de mar. The beach is good to, its well kept and the sea is almost always nice apart from when the waves come but if you enjoy riding the waves in a blow up... Read review

Advantages: Picturesque, Hot!
Disadvantages: Quiet!

...I got back from a week in Tossa De Mar on Saturday night, it was my first visit to the area so I wasn?t altogether sure of what it would be like there, or what to expect from the holiday. The night we arrived (at about 2am) we found a bar to have a drink in, unfortunately it wasn?t serving food (just ice cream) which was a pain as we were all starving, and couldn?t seem to find anywhere to buy some food. So my first piece of advice is to make sure you have enough to eat before arriving if you?re arriving at a silly time at night. My first impressions of the resort were that it was picturesque but seemed very quiet and as the holiday went on, I discovered that this was correct. As a 26 year old, I?ve been more used to going out and getting rather tipsy (ok, I mean drunk but I didn?t want to let my Ciao halo slip too far down... Read review
