What a shambolic Place! Lindy's Restaurant, Manhattan. NY 28/01/2011

Advantages There are two doors out of it.
Disadvantages The food, the prices and the standard of cleanliness.

Why did we go here? We were staying at the Hotel Pennsylvania and we arrived from England tired and hungry, it was late and Lindy's was the first place we saw, it is literally attached to the front of the hotel. The six of us decided to take the line of least resistance and went in. Big Mistake! Lyndy's has a bright frontage to the right of the front entrance to the Pennsylvania Hotel on 7th Avenue. It boasts "The Best Cheesecake in New York!" We didn't find out if that was true because having experienced the first course, we couldn't get out of there quickly enough.
