Stayed at this hotel for five nights, it is situated close to an underground station which is only a few stops from central Lisbon. From outside it has a modern look about it & the rooms were reasonably modern, clean & well equipped. There is good views of a local park from some of the rooms & ample shops & restaurants close by. My honeymoon in Lisbon!

Advantages: Very comfortable hotel
Disadvantages: not central, but not far off

A Contemporary Hotel Near to a Beautiful Monastery

Advantages: Well situated - close to famous attraction and good transport links
Disadvantages: A bit pricey

Jeronimos 8 is one of the most contemporary hotels I have come across in the city of Lisbon, Portugal. It has a real 'designer' feel to the establishment and makes a refreshing change from the heavy wood furniture and long draped curtains that you come across quite a lot in Portugal. not so good if there is a problem

Advantages: cheap basic rooms, central location for Placa Commercial and tram 28
Disadvantages: en-suite rooms are not worth 70 euros when you actually get better facilities for 45 euros

Advantages: The buffet breakfast was quite good
