The Empire

Advantages: The historic building is dramatic in itself, and will only add to the enjoyment of the top-quality pays and musicals, even pop concerts!
Disadvantages: Expensive, formal and doesn't have a good panto which is what makes a theatre for me!

The Everyman for Everyone

Advantages: Trendy, good value (even if not the cheapest), great local panto, good amature and professional productions, great atmosphere and a scrummy attached cafe!
Disadvantages: Doesn't have the big West End productions, but that's what gives the Everyman is comman magic with the people of Liverpool - their productions are good quality and open to everyone.
