Crowne Plaza deserves another Crown Advantages: 4 Star hotel, Situated in good location, Friendly staff, Beautiful hotel, Good hotel facilities Disadvantages: Expensive ...However the bathrooms in the Crowne Plaza are perfect they just look beautiful and posh. I had enough space to stand around; I had space to put my clothes and enough room to shave without banging into the mirror I guess you can get my point. Overall The Crowne Plaza is a lovely hotel situated perfectly by the waterfront in Liverpool I was surprised that the hotel is only a 4 star hotel but was very impressed. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff are helpful and I really enjoyed my stay. Classy Liverpool Marriott Advantages: Central, clean, helpful staff, good facilities Disadvantages: Price of food! ...my girlfriend stayed in the Marriott for one night back in March 2007. The reception area in the Marriott is very nice and extremely clean. When checking in the receptionist was very friendly, offering us extra services and any help/advice we needed for our stay. The conceirge was also very polite, helping us in the lift and offering us help with our bags. The actual room was great, a lovely view looking onto some of Liverpool's historic buildings ... ...clean and the bathroom was also very nice. We had a meal in the hotel and although the service was second to none, and the meal was beautiful, the pricing was extremely high. We would not eat in the hotel if we stayed again as there are many lovely restaurants close by the hotel offering much greater value. The meal cost us £60 for two and we only had one bottle of wine (a little bit too expensive for us, maybe others would disagree). Collingwood21 Gets Sent to Room 101 (And Likes It) Advantages: Renovated 19th building with character retained, Good room & breakfast, Helpful staff Disadvantages: My mattress was a bit too firm I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Liverpool Albert Dock while I was on a training course for work being held in the nearby BT Convention Centre. I normally discuss what led me to make a certain choice of hotel when I come to review them, but in this instance the choice was made for me by my department's budget holder - in other words, this was the cheapest hotel in the vicinity! This also means that I cannot comment directly on what the Premier ... ...experience of staying in a Premier Inn hotel, and my only knowledge of them prior to this trip was the awful Lenny Henry ad that has been on TV over recent months. Thistle without being prickled!! Advantages: Close enough to Liverpool's attractions Disadvantages: Limited if any car parking This is a large hotel with over 200 rooms including some suites and is located on the Pier Head next to the famous Liver Buildings. The main drawback is there is no on site parking facilities and the hotel's allocated parking slots are about a 5 minute walk from the hotel or there are NCP car parks close by. The reception is bright and airy with extremely pleasant staff welcoming you when you check in. This process is quick and you are soon directed ... ...and room. One of the lifts was a little tempremental and the doors would not close as soon as you got out to try another the doors closed and the lift went scuttling off to another floor!! Our room was very clean and welcoming and overlooked the river Mersey. The facilities included an ironing board and iron, hidden inside a purpose built cupboard, hair dryer, a small selection of toiletries in the bathroom and tea and coffee making equipment. Adelphi hotel liverpool Advantages: Location Disadvantages: Dated The adelphi hotel in Liverpool is the most famous of hotels in Liverpool with it's bid grand entrance and foyer this is by far the most historic hotell i know of. The queen has stayed at this hotel among the most famous of european football teams, actors journalists and the lst goes on. The adelphi is very very famous and is a good stay however the more modern traveller may be more suited to the other hotels in mersyside. but for a unique historical ... ...is a good stay .
