The campsite is designed with nature lovers in mind so is not over developed. On arrival you come to reception where you are met by friendly staff. Our pitch cost us £9 per adult and £3 per child (15 and under) per night, if you want to take a dog it costs £1 a night and they must be kept ..."

This campsite lies on the shore of Llyn Gwynant lake and beside the Afon Glaslyn river in Nantgwynant - the most beautiful valley in Wales. This is the very heart of Snowdonia. The mountains are just a walk away so you can tackle the summit of Snowdon or other scenic routes leaving your car behind. Activities such as paddling, sailing, climbing and coasteering are also available directly from the site. Bring your own boats (no charge - but no power boats) or else you can hire our single or double kayaks or Canadian canoes. Group discounts are available and group activities and instruction by arrangement.Or simply enjoy natural beauty and quiet and relax by your own camp fire. No radios are allowed, recycling is expected and respect for the land and for others is essential. The campsite has a single large toilet block, with showers and hot water provided. Fees for 2009 are £6 per adult per night, £3 per child (5 to 15). The adult fee increases to £8 for the high season (mid-July to end of August and bank holidays). Bags of firewood are £4 and firepits are free. There is no charge for hot showers.Groups can camp on the main site or hire our stone barns with their private camping fields. The barn complex is very beautiful and is a popular venue for self-catered weddings and functions. We don't take bookings, except for groups of 20 or more. The public campsite only ever gets full on bank holiday weekends, but if you arrive on Friday we will guarantee you a pitch.
