Via del Corso runs from Piazza Venetia, below the Il Vittoriano monument in the center of Rome, all the way up to Piazza del Popolo in the north of the city. It's one of the biggest streets for shopping in Rome and is frequented by tourists and locals, looking for a variety of goods. There are no sites that would be of interest to a tourist on Via del Corso, but there are so many very nearby such as the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Forum Romanum. So if you're doing a lot of walking around the city, then you're bound to find yourself on this street at some point. It's certainly well worth a visit as it's an interesting street with a good variety of shops and a good atmosphere.
We can date the history of this road back to the time of the Roman Empire, when it was known as Via Flaminia and was known to take...

Advantages: Near to other attractions, great places to get lunch and coffee Disadvantages: Out of the way a bit.
...Piazza del Popolo is north east of the city centre and located just above tourist attractions such the Spanish Steps and some great streets for shopping that the Italians frequently visit themselves. It's near to the mauseleum of Hadrian and just below a fantastic park, Borghese, that's great to eat lunch and relax in.

Prior to living in the square it was located in the Cirucs Massimo, which was where chariot racing took...

...You will fall in love with this city if your favourite colour is RED!
I visit this city during the summer.
As I was walking across the train station, both sides of the buildings are tall columns and antique style architecture. With mainly orange and red as the primary colors of the building decorative elements. Even the buses are red too! There are many leaning towers in Italy. You will also find the leaning twin towers here in Bologna too.
There is a good place to have lunch. it is in the market district. the price is reasonable and visitors that do not speak Italian can order the dish just by pointing. I enjoy the Parma Ham with cheese and sweet melon, I am in paradise! bottle of wine in italy is cheaper than bottle water. so i end up drinking wine for every meal....
