Promany species , value for money, calming atmosphere

Conslimited shop ,not long enough

I went to the London Aquarium for the first time a few months ago and can't wait to go back. They had the most amazing exhibits i have seen at an Aquarium. Their "touch" section whee you can touch Plaice, crabs, starfish and further on a big tank where you can touch stingray is fabulous. The...

ProGreat sea life

ConsA bit expensive

If you like fish, this is a place not to be missed. If you live in London or not, you must try and see the Aquarium, it is brilliant. It is right by the London Eye so directions to it should be okay, or if you use the tube, Westminster is the best stop. You start off by walking in and there is...

ProA good outing for the whole family

ConsNone

We recently visited the London Aquarium with our two year-old daughter. As it was freezing outdoors we wanted to go somewhere warm and somewhere that would keep our daughter's attention. The aquarium proved to be the perfect solution. We managed to avoid the high entrance fees by taking advantage...

ProDiverse collections. Interactive exhibits

ConsExpensive ticket price

We were quite shocked by what seemed like a fairly high entrance fee but by the end of our visit we thought it was worth every penny. We must have spent a good three hours or so being astounded by the diversity of life that is found in our seas. The aquarium houses a selection of fish and...

Seeing as there are no recent reviews of the London Aquarium on here, I thought I should add an update! I had not been here since early 2007, so I thought it warranted a visit seeing as I had some time off work. A lot has changed... First of all - the prices: Adults (15 yrs): £16 Children (3 - 14...

“More than a bit fishy!”

ProInterest for the kids

ConsEarly publicity claims seem a bit exaggerated

Open for a couple of years and situated in the old Greater London Council offices on the South Bank of the Thames at Westminster, the London Aquarium boasts the largest fish tank in Europe. Here you can see a wide variety of exotic and not so exotic fish displayed in tanks dipicting their natural...

ProGet to see and touch fish

ConsNot much parking available

Visitors to London who get the London Pass will be able to enjoy this as one of the many attractions that they can get for a single day pass of around £20. I went to the south bank to the London Aquarium on the 31st March 01 and really enjoyed this trip. If you are a fan of fish and living things...

ConsSome parts the disabled can't go

When you enter there’s a mini which has been changed into a fish tank, they are fed through the skylight I think. There’s many breeds of fish to be seen & is one of Europe's biggest & most amazing displays of aquatic life. There’s three levels all reached by a lift, along the wall you can tounch...

ProRays, nice ultraviolet jellyfish

ConsNo mammels! Not enough hands-on displays

I have to say I was unimpressed with my visit to the London Aquarium. there is not a great deal of variety of species - the main attraction appears to be the sharks which are fairly impressive. The only good attraction is the petty tank with the rays which you can stroke. However I feel that they...

I think so. A while ago I went there with my family, which included 3 children (means a box of snacks and bottled water). To my recollection there was not anybody who checked our bags.
