Went up to the London Eye today as it was a really bright but oh so cold sunny day, and I thought that we would be able to see for miles. Unfortunately everybody else had the same idea and ther were huge queues for standby tickets. I found it very difficult to get any sort of information about which queue to join, whether or not you could book in advance. However, the Eye itself looks great, really spectacular. I have learned my lesson though, you must book inadvance, particularly during the school holidays. Good idea to take your own binoculars.

Advantages: views over London though Im sure there are better Disadvantages: Long queues, costs too much, poor visibility through the glass when its sunny
