Heathrow Airport is the biggest airport in the world. And of course when you get big, you also get lost. Finding your way around Heathrow Airport is nearly impossible- with four terminals and miles of walkways.
There are plenty of toilets, cafes, restaurants, shops and seating Heathrow Airport caters for all types of people. The disabled access there is not bad, but with a wheelchair it is usually necessary to take the ling way round. The shops there are varied- you can buy watches to videos to computers. The choice is everlasting.
There are also many screens showing flight information. They are fairly large and the information is well displayed. The corridors and floors are very clean; they are more or less spotless. The general atmosphere in the airport is very friendly and warming, apart from the dozens and dozens of customs desks and offices, which is where you are likely to get delayed. But, in terms of safety and keeping to the law you have definitely got to give it to them.
Overall, Heathrow Airport is a really good airport.
