Everything about this hotel impressed me, from the courteous and helpful staff, to the fresh and clean surroundings. They say first impressions last, and therefore upon arrival at the check-in desk it was great to see a number of people all to willing to assist us. The apples on offer are also a nice touch.

The room also featured a comfortable couch, and a useful and spacious desk allowing the business traveller the comfort and space to catch up on any work. Each room was also fully air conditioned.
The restaurant offers a great choice of meals, and also does both an English or Continental breakfast (a nice touch was that they catered for vegetarians as well, offering Vegetarian sausages among other things at breakfast). Room service also gives the chance to order many traditional british meals (fish and chips) and the more popular European cuisine (such as Pizzas and pastas).
The only real negative has to be the price, which unfortunately means many people may be deterred from using the service (phone call costs were in my opinion extortionatly high)
Advantages: Great view, luxury Disadvantages: Price
London Hilton on Park Lane is the Hilton Groups flagship hotel in Britain. It has recently undergone massive refurbishment and the money seems to have been well spent. The reception area is bright and airy, with fresh flower displays daily. Rooms are a good size, and suitably luxurious. Do try for a park view, if you are on a higher floor you can barely hear the traffic noise, and can keep the drapes open all evening as you watch Londoners enjoy ... ...Food here is excellent, with plenty of choice, and no quibbling if you want something off the menu. It is very expensive to stay here, and is good only for very special occasions, or if you are staying on expenses!
Do be careful of the date you pick to stay here. This Hilton holds lots of annual award ceremonies, and it can get pretty rowdy if the National Hairdressers Association reps have been drinking free champagne all night.
It is nice to ...

Advantages: Location and views. Disadvantages: Difficult to drive out of onto Park Lane.
In my experiences of which there have been several, I find it a very pleasant large (450 rooms) hotel. It is luxuriously furnished, the common areas are smart, the service top rate. The rooms are a good size and just about everything you want or need is in the room. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms satisfy the most discerning visitor and there is a nice touch by which they include a bathrobe with their logo on it for both of you. If you ... ...was about GBP70.00 each, which isn't too expensive these days for a quality product! Both heating and air conditioning work well and are adjustable.
Discounts are available for weekends and even better ones via the www. It is very centrally located, which is excellent for shopping and restaurants. Prices vary obviously, but in March they are from GBP149.00 per night for 2 people sharing.
Connections by bus are excellent, but the tube station is ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "London Hilton, London"
Advantages: True five-star oasis of calm and comfort with a few tricks up its sleeve. Disadvantages: It would be somewhat churlish to nit-pick. Read the review!
I have just returned, very happy, from the Hilton. I have often returned, happy, from a Hilton, but this has always been - and will always be - THE Hilton. The LondonHilton on Park Lane has, always been "The Hilton" and this 28-storey icon is a London landmark that I have wanted to stay in for nigh on 30 years. This weekend, the dream came true. Nor was the bubble burst.
Booking
I booked on-line through the Hilton website and was offered a rate of just under UKP 128, plus taxes. The room-only room rate of UKP 150 (about $300) was something of a snip and it would have been rude not to accept it; it was about half of what you'd normally expect to fork out for a room in this hotel, which holds some quite extraordinary accolades, including "Best Business Hotel in Europe 2005" and "Daily Telegraph Best British Hotel 2002".
I had ...
Advantages: Excellent location, high level of expecation in terms of standard and service Disadvantages: Can be expensive, even for a cocktail !
A hotel with one of the most prime locations in London, the 5-star LondonHilton on Park Lane, boasts one of the more salubrious addresses and settings of the Hilton group's London portfolio, slightly set back from the busy traffic of Park Lane, overlooking Hyde Park.
The hotel is modern, but with a certain degree of grandeur, with a spacious lobby, behind which lies the sweeping staircases up the Grand Ballroom and Wellington Ballroom. The latter boats fantastic views across Park Lane over to Hyde Park, particularly impressive in the eraly evening and an ideal setting for cocktail recpetions before dinner in the Grand Ballroom - for functions in the 700 - 1,000 region. I have been to a number of dinner funtions at the hotel, and the food at the two most recent dinners was actually of a very high quality ... I state that ...
Advantages: Lovely, Clean Spacious Rooms, some with a fantastic view of canary wharf Disadvantages: The evening meal was poor
I had never heard of the HiltonLondon Docklands before I had booked, but ended up having two fantastic days in late February this year.
The HiltonLondon Docklands is built directly opposite Canary Wharf on the other side of the Thames, an area of massive redevelopment. Out of London this area has still got a reputation of being rough, but in reality in now consists of expensive townhouses and Luxury apartments. The hotel itself has well over 800 rooms and is split into three wings.
Me and my partner had booked a double room, but discovered that it looked more like a large studio flat, considering the price of property in London these days, I was rather pleasantly surprised. There was also a settee and table and chairs and cable TV. The bathroom was gorgeous and the whole place was extremely clean and well keep.
The reception ...
