Great value hotel

Advantages: Handy location, good rooms
Disadvantages: Not really any

I stayed at this Greenwich hotel this Christmas and was drawn to it because of its cheap price for quality rooms. I booked through hoteldirect.co.uk. The location of the hotel is excellent. Although the area around it is not very aesthetically pleasing, it is close to the O2 arena and a local retail park which was great for my holiday, yet it is far away from central London so not busy.The hotel is near the Blackwell Tunnel and I was anxious about ...
...was not the case. From the hotel you can see many great things such as the O2 and Canary Wharf, which produced some great shots on my camera. The staff were helpful but not intrusive on my visit. The rooms themselves are probably described as being quite basic. However I am used to traveling abroad to countries like Greece, so I thought the room was great. Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast
Disadvantages: Expensive

The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. The only thing I will say is that the walls were paper thin and you can hear what is going on in the next room. The man in the next room was a business man and he stayed up on his phone talking till about 3.0 clock which was really annoying because we couldn't sleep. I was their sleeping beauty!

Advantages: Clean and tidy and very friendly.
Disadvantages: No restaurant.

...hotel in question was the Sleeping Beauty Hotel; Ciao has called it the sleeping beauty motel but it was definitely hotel on the brochure, anyway never mind. The hotel is situated in Leyton which is in the East of London, so not a hotel you would be likely to use for a typical sightseeing holiday to London as you are well away from the attractions. Holiday Inn - Wandsworth. 1 Trevor has upgraded.
