Disadvantages: none to speak of other than the rooms could be bigger

Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast

The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. The only thing I will say is that the walls were paper thin and you can hear what is going on in the next room. The man in the next room was a business man and he stayed up on his phone talking till about 3.0 clock which was really annoying because we couldn't sleep. Disadvantages: Area its located in

Not too bad, but in my opinion, its not in such a great part of town. OK if you are parking in the car park then staying put in the hotel, no local sites to see, wouldnt want to be walking around this area after dark. Top price, bottom drawer At £130, it was top price (okay it was pre-Christmas), but for a tiny double room with remnants of a leak from above (or was it streaks of nicotine from its previous smoking room days?). Use it as a base but eat elsewhere

Disadvantages: Food not great, distance from a train - reliance on buses.

...typical of that of most holiday inns i have stayed. The bed was comfortable, there was a desk, iron and ironing board and i tv with standard channels and some satelite channels - mainly news. The bar - decent range of drinks - the house white wine was pretty good and only £3.50 which i thought was fair considering it was a hotel bar in London. Food - first night we ate at the bar. I had a margerita pizza. What can i say.... well it came it still ...
...but on this occasion i let the staff know and they couldn't do enough for me. The pizza went back and came out 5-6 mins later piping hot. They also brought me another glass of wine free of charge as way of an apology. I'm easily pleased!!!
