Jurys clifton Ford Hotel is a good 4* hotel. Part of the Jurysdoyle group. There is a website which has some information about the hotel at www.jurysdoyle.com. ...to the hotel............ The Chesterfield Mayfair is advertised as a top class hotel and we checked this out on tripadvisor.com where they rated it very highly (top twenty hotels in London). ...and stayed at the the Washington Hotel in Mayfair. Do I reccommend this hotel - well it is good value. I booked direct from their website and it cost £89 plus VAT including full breakfast for two. This is for a 4 star hotel in the heart of London. The foyer is nice, clean, spacious and welcoming and check in was without any hassle. Our room was clean, but the decor in the room was tired. ...also a bit of a satellite TV fand there was only Sky News, CNN and some Indian channels, plus the normal 5 terrestrial channels. Even though Sky Sports was promoted in the room literature it wasn't there, so rather disappointing. The bed was comfortable, but it took a while to get to sleep because of some noisy waterpipes. As a regular visitor to London I'm often lucky enough to squeeze in an overnight's stay. Recently, whenever possible, I've tried to ensure that I stay here, as it it perfect for all of my requirements. Firstly, the hotel is perfectly located - just a few hundred metres from the Embankment underground station on the Bakerloo, Victoria, Circle and District Lines.
