...tell me, transferred me to Le Meridien’s central reservations department. They were also, apparently, unable to help and suggested that I ‘phoned Priceline, which I immediately did. Priceline were as bemused as me but – all credit to them – were friendly, helpful and efficient. I caught a taxi from the train station and the first thing that I noticed when getting there was that the part of Belvedere Road in which the hotel is situated has barriers at either end so only traffic that has a reason for being there is allowed in...this makes the front of the hotel quieter than most places in London. Check in is not until after 2pm but you can drop off your luggage for free while you take in some of the sights. Lovely hotel in prime location in London. Perfect if you wish to be central to pretty much everything. Grt Russell street is light off the most hectic streets so acts as a bit of a retreat from the hussel and bussel. Wonderful service at the hotel and really try to look after their guests. On my first stay to the Jurys, i booked online, and through no fault of the hotel the booking had an error. So the General Manager kindly offered us a better ...
