The London Hilton on Park Lane - It's the Daddy!
Review of London Hilton on Park Lane, London by
andymcf
Advantages: True five-star oasis of calm and comfort with a few tricks up its sleeve.
Disadvantages: It would be somewhat churlish to nit-pick. Read the review!
...be - THE Hilton. The London Hilton on Park Lane has, always been "The Hilton" and this 28-storey icon is a London landmark that I have wanted to stay in for nigh on 30 years. This weekend, the dream came true. Nor was the bubble burst. Booking I booked on-line through the Hilton website and was offered a rate of just under UKP 128, plus taxes. The room-only room rate of UKP 150 (about $300) was something of a snip and it would have been rude not ... ...The room London hotels are noted, probably, for two things; high prices and small rooms. Here, I thought that the price was good for what we got. The room, also, was by no means cramped. In fact, at 22 square metres, it was actually quite spacious. the King-sized bed was huge and proved to be extraordinarily comfortable. The comfy chair was very comfortable. The television was large and had a good selection of channels. There was a personalised welcome ...

Firstly, I really am not sure whether I am going to find enough superlatives to accurately describe this hotel, but we'll see how we go… ~~~~~~~
Location

The hotel is located on the northern tip of Soho on Berners Street, just off Oxford Street. The nearest tube station would be Oxford Circus, but Tottenham Court Road would not be too ... ...park my car when I travel to London, Oxford Circus is an easier tube stop for me to get to this particular hotel.
As you walk up Berners Street, with Oxford Street to your rear, then the hotel is located approximately 200 yards on the left hand side, beyond The Berners hotel, that you may note on the right hand side.

Living in luxury
Review of Hilton London Metropole, London by
edward_stapleton
Advantages: Comfort, helpful staff
Disadvantages: Expensive food, checking out!
INTRODUCTION
The Hilton London Metropole hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk down the Edgeware Road from Oxford Street. It is conveniently close to the Edgeware Road Tube Station and many bus links. Marylebone train station is about 20 minutes walk away, or 5 minutes on the bus.
ENTRANCE
The entrance of this Hilton hotel is beautifully classy. After you have walked through a dark marble exterior entrance, and crossed a small taxi bypass, you ... ...step into the rotating entrance door. As you walk onto the marble flooring, you are met with a fairly dimly lit, but marvellous hallway. There is a bar and seating area to your right, a concierge desk straight in front of you and the check-in desks are to your left. The multi-lingual staff on the check-in arrange a room for you and hand over an electronic card to you, which is used to enter your room.
FACILITIES
There are many facilities at the ...

The Beaufort is an absolute MUST!
Review of The Beaufort, London by
reviewaway
Advantages: Location, location, location, free bar (incl champagne) and gorgeous surroundings
Disadvantages: Bathroom quite small
...a hidden gem in amongst the chaos of London! We stayed last December for 2 nights whilst Christmas Shopping. It was so serene it was fab. We upgraded our room to a suite and it was def worth it. The room was large and so clean! I could've moved in. We had everything we needed and it was like a home from home. The free bar is fab. I couldn't believe it was all free! There is either a bar in the reception area you can help yourselves to or this is ... ...help yourself too to. In the lounge there are comfy sofas, sky tv and also complimentary internet access.
The hotel is small and you feel like it really is your own house.
The staff are friendly and helpful, polite at all times.
The bathroom was lovely, the only thing I would've liked would've been a larger bathroom but thats me being picky!
Location is ace, Literally around the corner from Harvey Nicks and Harrods. I would go back tomorrow if ...
