Five star experience
Review of Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, London by mileslondoner

Advantages: Cental location, excellent serivce, wifi internet, tennis court
Disadvantages: Five star prices

...Churchill now managed by the Hyatt is one of the best London hotels. Hotel facilities: famous Cigar bar, recently opened (2005) Montagu Restaurant, one of the best italian restaurants in the city Locanda Locatelli, wi-fi internet, health club, hairdresser, tennis court on Portman Square, attentive security and so on. Rooms are big, clean and really 5 star standard. For a small supplement you can enjoy club lounge facilities with unlimited soft and ...
...this place is well organized. The best option if money is not an issue it to go for a Portman Square view room, on the 8 floor. The best rate you can get is to be found on the hyatt's website. (it depends of the time of the year but all in all it is gonna be above 120 pounds) ... Read review

amazing sheets on a bed to die for
Review of Renaissance Chancery Court, London by floodzo81

Advantages: Short walk to Covent Garden & Oxford St
Disadvantages: little or no nightlife close by

Call me old-fashioned, but we knew this was going to be good when we spotted a bowl of miniature Toblerones sitting at reception. The hotel is located in Holburn, on the edge of the business district, and is around 10 minutes walking to Oxford Circus/Covent Garden. The tube station, literally around the corner, is on the central line to Oxford Circus too. The room was beautiful. Not minimalist like a lot of places with gimmicky 'young and hip' ...
...that in the feel of the room and not the decor or the furnishings, all of which were pristine. The marble bathroom had an incredibly powerful shower, along with a larger than average bath. The only drawback was the view - our room over-looked an office building. We did check in at around 11pm though, and as the hotel has a courtyard in the middle, as well as facing High Holburn, I think we were just relatively unlucky. All in all, a great stay. A ... A Little Gem in London
Review of London Bridge Hotel, London by thesimpsons

Advantages: Right in the hub of things with good transport links
Disadvantages: A little on the expensive side?

We first stayed at the London Bridge Hotel on the recommendation of Great Rail Journeys as an overnight stop before travelling on Eurostar from Waterloo. Today, with Eurostar having moved to St Pancras the London Bridge Hotel is no longer used by Great Rail Journeys but it is now our first choice for accommodation if we are in London to see a West End Show. The hotel is right in the hub of things but when you step through the door you are in a different ...
...English' The only downside is that the hotel is a little on the expensive side but this you have got to balance against its ambience, the bedrooms and public areas, and the pleasant staff. Therefore, for that special occasion, the London Bridge Hotel is the place to stay. ... Read review

Worst Hotel In London
Review of Pembridge Palace Hotel, London by ir8trav

Advantages: Had hot water
Disadvantages: Cost too much

Not a three star hotel! This is not even a one star hotel. The room was tiny. The television only worked on one snowy chanel. The bathroom smelled of mold and the shower curtain was slimy. There was no plug for the drain so it was impossible to take a bath. There were no glasses, very few towels, and no extra pillows. The pillows smelled and were dirty and the extra blanket had large holes. There were bugs! I received many bites and developed sores ...
...make a cup of tea. The staff were not helpful and they didn't seem to care. The carpet was threadbare and dirty (greasy). There was constant noise all night and the floors were very noisy when anyone walked on them. Outside the window there were many cigarette butts and other trash. DON"T STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD HOLIDAY!! ... Read review

Very modern hotel in a very convenient location
Review of Chiswick Moran Hotel, Hounslow by geordieg00

Advantages: Location, rooms
Disadvantages: Availability, lack of loyalty/points scheme

I first visited the Chiswick Moran Hotel in July 2006 when it first opened, as I'd just begun working in Brentford about a mile from the hotel and it fast became my favourite hotel in the area. Since then i've stayed there probably in excess of 150 nights over the last 2 years. The Hotel The hotel is part of a small chain owned by an Irish family which has other hotels in Central London and Dublin. As I mentioned above, the hotel itself is ...
...proper workout. The Location Chiswick is an absolutely great town in West London and one of the few places in London that I would feel safe walking around on my own in the dark. The main street through Chiswick, Chiswick High Road, is a busy bustling tree lined road packed full of shops, bars, restaurants and much more. Not far from Twickenham, the England rugby team often stay in the hotel....its a surreal experience having breakfast with ... Read review
