Excellent quality budget choice
Review of Express By Holiday Inn London Royal Docks - Docklands, London by C.Laslett

Advantages: Excellent Value, Close Proximity to London Underground Station
Disadvantages: None

When looking for a low-budget hotel close to the city for a group of 5 family members, we chose to stay at the Royal Docklands HI Express. This hotel was much better than expected and represents excellent value for money, with rooms starting from just £50, including breakfast. Rooms can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children so £50 B&B for a family of 4 is amazing value! For best rates, try to book online (www.holidayinn.co.uk) and at least 14 ...
...advertised at £160 so booking upfront is most definately essential. ba The hotel is easy to get to, much easier than I first thought it would be. Canning Town Tube Station (Jubilee Line / DLR) is a short couple of minutes walk across the road - you can actually see the station from the hotel entrance. Services to central London take around 20 minutes and cost no more than £3 for adults, although anyone planning to travel around the city a lot should ... Read review

Great value hotel
Review of Express by Holiday Inn Express, London by afraser

Advantages: Handy location, good rooms
Disadvantages: Not really any

I stayed at this Greenwich hotel this Christmas and was drawn to it because of its cheap price for quality rooms. I booked through hoteldirect.co.uk. The location of the hotel is excellent. Although the area around it is not very aesthetically pleasing, it is close to the O2 arena and a local retail park which was great for my holiday, yet it is far away from central London so not busy. The hotel is near the Blackwell Tunnel and I was anxious about ...
...was not the case. From the hotel you can see many great things such as the O2 and Canary Wharf, which produced some great shots on my camera. The staff were helpful but not intrusive on my visit. The rooms themselves are probably described as being quite basic. However I am used to traveling abroad to countries like Greece, so I thought the room was great. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom complete with a power shower and W.C.. ... Read review

Save your money
Review of Eden Plaza Hotel, London by Jinty1970

Advantages: Great location but no other adventages
Disadvantages: everything

...stayed one night in the Eden Plaza and that was enough. The hotel is on a busy main road and the secondry glazing was broken off it's runners so I heard every car and lorry all night. The shower room was old and dirty looking. In fact I skipped a shower as I was not going to step on the floor with bare feet. The walls were dirty and scuffed and the so called satalite TV had two news channels and nothing else. The TV had wires hanging out of it and ... Read review

Review of Kensington Court Hotel, London by 2angels1510

Advantages: Close to Tube Station/Bars/restaurants
Disadvantages: Lift too small

...2 friends stayed at The Kensington Court Hotel in Feb 2006, whilst on a weekend break to London. The hotel is in an ideal situation for travellers in the fashionable Earls Court. It is a 2 minute walk to the nearest tube station and has lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was very clean and well presented. The rooms were very spacious with everything you need eg hairdryers, kettles, towels, tv etc.The en-suite bathroom had a shower ...
...3 nights, booking through Superbreak.According to the Kensington Court Hotel website they charge £65 for a double, £72 for a single and £65 for a twin. They also have triple and quad rooms, which cost about £115-£125 per night. I would definatly stay here again if i was visiting London. ... Read review
