Sleeping Beauty Motel, London Advantages: Clean, staff polite Disadvantages: Area its located in Not too bad, but in my opinion, its not in such a great part of town. OK if you are parking in the car park then staying put in the hotel, no local sites to see, wouldnt want to be walking around this area after dark. Found it very noisey, the road that its located on is a very busy road and the noise from it is constant. By train, its not far to underground or overground stations. Ideal for the 02 Advantages: close to 02, good value, comfortable Disadvantages: run-down area, rushed staff We stayed here in April while attending an event at the 02. The location is ideal for the O2 - just one stop away on the Jubilee line. It's great when you leave the O2 because most people are heading in the other direction! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, but seemed very rushed. When we asked for more pillows they never arrived. The breakfast was adequate and as expected. Plenty of cereals, fruit, toast and pastires ... ...the hotel, the area is quite run-down. I wouldn't have been comfortable walking from the tube station to the hotel in the dark on my own. Luckily it is only a short walk away. Express Holiday Inn Earls Court, London Advantages: Good location in London Disadvantages: Expensive to say the least. Express By Holiday inn earls court, London I made a visit to Holiday inn, in earls court during the middle of July and found this a nice place to stay. The Hotel had a small sign displayed at the front of the Hotel window advertising rooms from ninety nine Pounds per room per night. Regarding the Hotel's location the nearest tube station is West brompton station which takes around ten minutes to walk from the station to the Hotel, or Fulham broadway ... ...the area. Directly opposite the Express by Holiday inn is a Thai Restaurant and a Beds Furniture Store. On the corner of the main road is a Polish Coffee shop and many other Restaurant's going towards Fulham. Upon entry to the reception area I found the check in process to be fast and efficient, in that it took me around four minutes to have my payment taken and also my room card handed over to me. 1811 Georgian Town House is a truly wonderful English experience Advantages: Excellent customer service Disadvantages: NONE! ...experience of staying (twice) at the very charming 1811 Georgian Town house in Northampton Square, Central London, I would definately recommend it for excellent value for money. The hostess is charming and totally dedicated to ensuring customers have a wonderful experience of staying at the Town house. I was in Central London but away from the hustle and bustle of the City but still close enough to the hub of activities (both socially and professionally). ... ...satisfying individual needs. On the whole, I found my experience very relaxing, safe and thoroughly enjoyable. It certainly took the stress out of visiting the ever busy City of London! I would rate the !811 Town House ten out of ten. Not worth the 5 but a GOOD 4 star property. Marriott Canary Wharf Advantages: Good location. Reputable brand. Delivers a good hotel experience Disadvantages: Could be better. Needs to look to wow the customer. ...look out for a suitable London hotel. This was before I had discovered the InterContinental, which is now my preferred London property, so off I went online to find a suitable hotel. After much searching I found a good deal in Canary Wharf at the Marriott. I had never been to Canary Wharf before and was excited to stay somewhere different. The hotel had favourable rates compared to the city centre and the facilities looked good. After much surfing ... ...are definitely better hotels in London and Canary Wharf, but to be fair the Marriott did deliver, it just didn’t WOW me. I would look at other hotels in the city or the Four Seasons Canary Wharf if you really want a true five star property, if you aren’t that bothered then the Marriott will cover your needs for sure!
