A mixed bag - I wouldn't stay again.
Review of Millennium Bailey's Hotel, London by claire.wizzbiz

Advantages: restaurant, friendly staff, close to tube
Disadvantages: noisy, mouse in room, unclear invoices

This hotel was a mixed bag. I stayed with a colleague for business purposes. We stayed for one night, mid-week on April 7th 2008. I stayed in a room on the second floor and my colleague was on the first floor. On the plus side - If you want a hotel close to a tube station, this is perfect. Gloucester Rd was right opposite, 100yds. It was also close to South Kensington which was one stop away on the tube and very nice for shopping. The double glazing ...
...from the street. Unfortunately my window wouldn't open, it was broken. I didn't report this so just had to live with it. I booked two single rooms for myself and a colleague, we both got double rooms, which were spacious. The bed was comfortable, linen clean, water hot and the bathroom was clean. The television in the room was very good, lots of channels, new and in working order. I got an extremely reasonable tariff, £107 for Dinner, bed and breakfast ... Read review

A GOOD EXAMPLE OF IGNORING FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Review of Ramada Ealing, London by sue.51

Advantages: Superb location, reasonable prices, high speed wireless and wired internet throughout, on-site parking
Disadvantages: Looks quite grotty from the outside

...do much worse than visit Ramada Jarvis's own website, www.ramada.co.uk, I have had some ridiculously cheap deals at their outlets in other locations across the UK. There is also a lodge alongside the hotel offering budget accommodation, we spoke to three people sharing a room, and it was costing them £22 a night; guests can take advantage of the hotels eating facilities. ***CONFERENCE FACILITIES*** The hotel offers 9 conference rooms with modern ...

Luxury it ain't
Review of Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel, London by alisonbcrawford

Advantages: Good location, Friendly staff
Disadvantages: Tiny rooms, Horrid bathrooms, TVs seems to be a bit dodgy

I have had the misfortune of staying at the Edwardian Kenilworth a number of times now and I must say it would not my fisrt choice for the future. Location For me, the location was pretty good as it's central and not too far from tube stations (Tottenham Court Road a few minutes walk). It's very good if you want to go to the British Museum or the theatre as all are nearby. Foodwise, I have found it to be pretty good for coffee shops, restaurants ...
...you want little bits and pieces. I found it quite quiet at night which could be a little off putting, but I have seen no bother so felt safe enough wandering around late from my restaurant. Lobby area The lobby is pretty de rigeur - slick leather sofas and odd artwork and lots of lighting. I've always found check-in and check out to be very quick, polite and I have been offered wake up calls and newspapers. I have never had an offer to help with ... Read review

Radisson Edwardian Marlborough, Bloomsbury, London
Review of Radisson Edwardian Marlborough, London by strangebedbug

Advantages: Elegant, affordable luxury hotel
Disadvantages: Only one...missing the usual range of toiletries

We loved this hotel, ideally located for everything you'd need for a weekend visit to London. On the doorstep you have museums (we visited the British Museum to look at all the plunder of the Empire), theatres, shops (Oxford St), and all manner of touristy distractions! The hotel itself was beautiful, very elegant and tastefully decorated, with a marble lobby and very attractive artworks. As you move away form the lobby, the decor is less impressive, ...
...Our room was small but perfectly formed, with a large bed, dressing table, double wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar and TV. An iron andironing board are provided, along with meanding kit and trouser press, all the things you'd expect. The room was very clean and the sheets a luxurious satin-cotton. Lovely! The bathroom was a nice size and all marble, and very clean. The only small gripe I had was that the usual toiletries you;d expect ... Read review

Holiday Inn Kensington Forum
Review of Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum, London by jonesri

Advantages: Near tude station, modern hotel
Disadvantages: Expensive car parking

...had booked was in the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum (for anyone who has never seen this site before I recommend reading some of the reviews on it, it will save you loads of money.). The only downside to the site is that you don’t know what the hotel is until you have booked it so I was relieved to see that it was part of the Holiday Inn chain and felt confident of having a pleasant stay. ** Background ** The Holiday Inn chain of hotels is owned ...
...company include Crown Plaza and Holiday Inn Express. According to the TV message in the hotel room this Holiday Inn is the tallest hotel in UK (27 Floors) and is also the largest Holiday Inn in the world. It is certainly an impressive hotel and has been renovated as recently as last year (2003). ** General Appearance and Location ** The hotel is ideally located close to Gloucester Road Tube Station, which offers easy access to multiple tube lines ...
