...cuts through the streets to get to the Thames bank quickly - oh yes, we had also booked a trip on the London Eye - which would save us a fortune in taxi fare. We were dropped off right at the huge glass frontage of the building and by this stage I was rather pleased with our choice of hotel. ...is a must try!!! The best Indian Restaurant! I heard its owned by Sir Michael Caine so its good! And prices are reasonable as well. There is also a breakfast room where you can get full breakfast which is open seven days a week and the best things is .... you will never guess what it is :) SAUSAGES!!! they have over 50 different kind of sausages from about 20 countries! can u imagine? This didn’t however include breakfast which was charged extra. I booked thinking we could have breakfast outside the hotel if they charged too much. ...you first get to the Ibis you are presented with an oppressing concrete box (although it was raining which didn't help its image...). You head across the rather tired looking foyer to a desk manned by (on our visit) staff who's English wasn't the best. ...up to our room via a rickety lift. The corridors reminded me of an old school; in a bad state of repair, threadbare carpet and a funny smell. The room itself wasn't at all bad, quite modern fixtures, in a good state of repair, the bathroom and majority of the living space was clean.
