Ominous brown stains aren't the best way to start your hotel stay
Advantages: Central location. New modern design. Reasonable price on promo rate. Disadvantages: Dirty towels, slow check in, distance to car park.
...London, however due to a Hilton 50% off promotion I made an exception so booked a stay at Hilton Tower Bridge. I booked my stay through the Hilton website and secured an Executive room with access to the Executive lounge that also included breakfast. Arrival The hotel does not have the benefit of an on-site parking, however it recommends the Q Park, which was apparently close by. The sat nav got me there easily, however it soon became apparent that ... ...it was a very standard Hilton stay. The property was modern and clean in general and provided a comfortable stay. The dirty towel left an awful lot to be desired and would mean that I would not want to stay again. If their hygiene levels were of such a standard with towels I can only speculate on the potential for other areas to be lackadaisical. If you want a hotel south of the river and you aren’t choosey then do consider it. If not then there ...

LUXURY IN LONDON!
Advantages: Brilliant rooms, service, food, internet etc Disadvantages: expensive!!!
In the middle of February, I was lucky enough to be whisked away for a long weekend in London with my grandma. I’m a huge fan of west end shows and musicals, and so our trip was booked- we would go and see various different shows. I couldn’t wait to go. One thing I hadn’t thought of before going however was which hotel we were staying in. I reckoned that we wouldn’t be spending too much time in the hotel itself, as we were going to be very busy, ... ...have been happy. I knew the name of the hotel was The Grosvenor, however I didn’t have a clue what its reviews were like, or in fact how many stars it had.
Getting to the hotel
We had absolutely no problem finding the hotel. We took the train from our hometown, to King’s Cross in London. We only had to wait around ten minutes in a queue to get two underground tickets, which came to a very reasonable £6. We then took the underground to Victoria, ...

Can't fault it at all!
Advantages: Everything. Disadvantages: Large building.
Wonderful is the word for this hotel. Everything about it is wonderful.
The location is great. South Kensington is safe, clean and central. Kensington high street is a shoppers delight! The Natural History Museum is amazing for adults and children, is free and nearby. You would fill a whole day with a visit there easily. There are a choice of grocery stores and cafes in walking distance and transport links are excellent for bus, tube and cab.
The ... ...24/7 and couldn't do enough for you. The service was 5 star.
The accommodation is modern, clean, fresh, spacious, comfortable, quiet and family friendly. There are fantasic apartments here too with great kitchen facilities.
I think it is also great value for money. It's not the cheapest 4 star place but it is a long way from the most expensive and in many ways it could be 5 star, particlarly with the service and location.
Highly recommended. ...

The Hilton without a chihuauhua or a range of perfumes
Advantages: Good rail connections, good for the Excel or London City Airport, but not too remote for the city Disadvantages: It's expensive but by London terms, you get a lot for your money.
...there's a different side to Hilton in the new Millenium; a funkier and more cutting edge design-led style that's quite unlike their 1980s and 1990s image. I've been staying in Hiltons for about 20 years and I rarely regret it but there's a clear difference between their 'revamped' older hotels and their made-to-measure newbies. When you find a Hilton where everything is as it was designed to be and not where they've modified something older and tried ... ...is to check out the Hilton in Canary Wharf.
Canary Wharf
Canary Wharf is not like 'real' London so if you are looking for the old world charms of the city and your mental image is based on scenes from Mary Poppins and Oliver Twist, don't go to Canary Wharf. This is London's area of ultra-modern high-rise living and working, built on what were once rough areas of the docklands that were so unattractive that I'm sure I once read that Stanley ...

Very modern hotel in a very convenient location
Advantages: Location, rooms Disadvantages: Availability, lack of loyalty/points scheme
I first visited the Chiswick Moran Hotel in July 2006 when it first opened, as I'd just begun working in Brentford about a mile from the hotel and it fast became my favourite hotel in the area. Since then i've stayed there probably in excess of 150 nights over the last 2 years.
The Hotel
The hotel is part of a small chain owned by an Irish family which has other hotels in Central London and Dublin. As I mentioned above, the hotel itself is ... ...proper workout.
The Location
Chiswick is an absolutely great town in West London and one of the few places in London that I would feel safe walking around on my own in the dark. The main street through Chiswick, Chiswick High Road, is a busy bustling tree lined road packed full of shops, bars, restaurants and much more. Not far from Twickenham, the England rugby team often stay in the hotel....its a surreal experience having breakfast with ...
