Grange St. Paul's is an amazing hotel!
Advantages: Amazing, all round Disadvantages: None!
This hotel is undoubtedly the best I have ever stayed in. Here's why...
We booked this hotel as a top secret hotel through lastminute.com, paying £86 for the room for the night of Saturday 26th Septmeber 2009. For anyone who isn't familiar with lastminute's top secret system you basically get a star rating and description, but not the name of the hotel before you book. However, for London hotels if you put the description into Google you can easily ... ...what we were getting before we booked.
We arrived by Tube from King's Cross station to St. Paul's Underground station. From here the hotel is fairly easy to find. Just follow the signs for the cathdral then look for Godliman Street on the other side of the cathedral and you can't miss it. The transport links to the hotel are good - St. Paul's Underground station is perhaps not the best served but it is easy to make links to all of the major sightseeing ...

A Chilly Reception
Advantages: Good location in west London, excellent maid service Disadvantages: Frequently unmanned reception, cold rooms with inefficient heater
...London I was recommended this Travelodge by my sister - it had just opened when she stayed in June 2009 and she was impressed enough to suggest it to me. The location was good too as my brother in law and his family live in Fulham so it meant instead of a tube trip to see them, it was just a short walk instead. So when there was a Travelodge sale which covered my daughter's October half-term break, I got up early and snapped up 4 nights in Fulham ... ...As this is a new Travelodge the rooms were basic current Travelodge style. I had booked a family room so there was a bed, an unmade sofa bed, a wooden desk with tea and coffee making facilities, one hard plastic chair, LCD TV mounted to the wall and a tiny "wardrobe" area which consisted of an open rail with six hangers and one shelf above. The bathroom is basic but functional - bath with power shower overhead, basin and toilet. Both rooms were clean ...

Good hotel, and handy for Wembley!
Advantages: Good prices, good hotel Disadvantages: Small car park
Express by Holiday Inn hotels are always my first choice hotel when I am looking to book somewhere for an overnight stay or short break. A few years ago I would use Travelodge, then progressed to Premier Inn, then I discovered Express by Holiday Inn and they have became my favourite. The main reasons for this are, price and what you get for your money, the special offers on room rates, the excellent priority club rewards scheme and also the fact ... ...stayed at the Express by Holiday Inn at Golders Green, London for 2 nights when attending a concert. ~~~~~~~~~ LOCATION ~~~~~~~~~ Express by Holiday Inn, Golders Green North is situated on a very busy intersection known as Henley's Corner, on Regent's Park Road. It is the intersection for the A41, Finchley Road and A406 North Circular. The hotel is five minutes drive away from Golders Green tube and bus station and also Finchley Central. It also ...

Not Much Sleep To Be Had at The Comfort Inn London
Advantages: It's relatively cheap to stay in the room, so it's not all too bad. Disadvantages: The staff, the prices in the restaurant, I know it's London, but I was shocked
...also booked a hotel called Comfort Inn. We were quite shocked when we were dropped outside of Terminal 5, to then have to wait about 20 minutes for another bus to get to the hotel. I myself was quite shocked to find that the trip took about 20 minutes to get to the Comfort Inn; I thought it would have been on the doorstep of Heathrow, but apparently I was very naive in this aspect. I truthfully thought that when we got to the airport, we’d drag our ... ...we were in, in the Comfort Inn. I have looked at some other reviews on the hotel, and not many people have many bad things to say about the rooms or anything like that, I think that maybe they were having a problem during this time with their plumbing or something like that, I know we should have complained about it, but we had complained so much about their incompetence when it came to checking in that it would have been a little bit cruel to complain ...

A room in Romford
Advantages: clean, very cheap, usually friendly employees, good shops close by, easy travelling to C. London Disadvantages: no luggage room, no parking
...left to book. I suggested Travelodge Romford because I had been there before. Back then I was satisfied with the hotel and I also quite like Romford as a city. Getting to London We took the Eurolines bus at four in the afternoon and were to arrive in London early next day. The ride was incredibly long as other travellers were picked up from places in Beglium and France, but in the end we arrived at the Victoria coach station at six in the morning, ... ...go to a hotel like Travelodge for the fancy interior. The room was very clean and tidy, which is the most important thing. We had a double bed, a desk and a television. On the table there was tray with tea making facilities, including two cups, teaspoons, little sachets of instant coffee and two teabags. Sugar and coffee creamer were also there. The bathroom was absolutely fine as well. The shower was good and the water pressure was absolutely fine, ...
