Sleeping Beauty Motel, London
Advantages: Clean, staff polite Disadvantages: Area its located in
Not too bad, but in my opinion, its not in such a great part of town.
OK if you are parking in the car park then staying put in the hotel, no local sites to see, wouldnt want to be walking around this area after dark.
Found it very noisey, the road that its located on is a very busy road and the noise from it is constant.
By train, its not far to underground or overground stations.
Walthamstow market again, is not too far away there is also a ...

Good value for money
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: You get what you pay for......
I recently stayed at the Queens Hotel at the end of November, and to be honest it was absolutely fine. I had booked it at the last minute, just a few hours before check in, and everything went smoothly. Check was easy and without complication. As for the room, it had everything I needed considering I was only staying for a couple of nights by myself, and most of the time I was out anyway. It was clean, which is important, and there was a working ... ...when I turned the shower on, the shower head fell straight off, completely soaking the bathroom and spraying water everywhere. However, this was easily fixed by myself.
Breakfast was fine, just usual kind of toast, cereals....basically what you would expect, and there is always Sainsburys just around the corner. Staff were generally willing to help, although didn't seem particularly welcoming. At night it was slightly noisy, as I had a room right ...

Putting on The Ritz
Advantages: Style, excellent service, great location Disadvantages: Too many tourists
The only problem with The Ritz is that being such a landmark it does attract a bizarre mixture of people.
The Rivoli Bar is perhaps a bit kitsch for some, decorated with much gold and glitz, but The Palm Court and adjoining lounge bar are sophistication in themselves and ideal places to take elderly relatives to tea or for drinks with clients/friends.
The restaurant offers the best of British in terms of a traditional menu and the room is spectacular. ... ...Rooms are excellent and of the high standard one would expect of a hotel of this calibre. Prices are high, but for that you do get the best.
The service is impeccable, the staff excellent and their attentive yet discrete manner is most impressive.
Conveniently situated on Piccadilly, the location is perfect for those looking for somewhere close to theatreland, the Royal Parks, shopping on Bond Street and Jermyn Street, etc. etc.
If you want to ...

Clean, simple and easy.
Advantages: closeness to Central London, cheap price, breakfast Disadvantages: sorrounding area, small shower, plain
...times and ended up at Custom House twice. Where is Custom House? The address is: 272-283 Victoria Dock Road, London, E16 3BY. Since I rode on the bus I can not tell you for sure how easy it is to get there, but the bus driver seemed to be fine. However, parking seemed not as easy. There was a parking space where you were able to let people on or out, but the parking was a little further away. Costum House located in the docklands, next to the ExCel ... ...it to Travellodge, and find Custom House more welcoming. The breakfast is nice too and the staff is much more helpful than the one in Travellodge. I think the rooms are the best for you if you are travelling alone or as a pair. I heard the family rooms are a tad too small and thus uncomfortable. 4 stars - I am taking one off for the not-so-nice neighbourhood and the water leak that I had in my room last time. ...

A Quality Hotel at a Sensible Price
Advantages: Great for a quiet weekend break in London Disadvantages: Can be too quiet if you are in London for the "night life"
...breakfast): http://www.benbow.org.uk/chamberlain.htm
The Chamberlain is in the business district of London, so it is quiet at the weekends (and there are not many restaurants open). This was ideal for us, as we are light sleepers, and it meant a really good nights sleep. The tube is literally 60 seconds around the corner, so for daytrips and evening meals we were able to go out and about easily (even with my wife in high heels), and London was our ... ...The continental breakfast at The Chamberlain was really good too. A nice selection of items. The croissants and cinamon danish's were fresh, and there was a good selection of meat, cheeses, rolls, and toast.
Although we checked out on Sunday morning, we were able to keep our bags at the hotel until Sunday evening. This was great, as it meant we didn't have to lug our suitcases all around London (and Harrods!).
I would recommend the hotel to anyone, ...
