Advantages: good location & cheap for a 4 star hotel even if it is a bit rundown
Disadvantages: very small rooms, masively overheated, watch out for tricky pricing deals

When I look back at my stay in the hotel that is the thing that stands out my wife and I were in an "executive twin" which was one of the relatively fiew with air conditioning this mostly offset the fact that even in July the hotel was heateded like a sauna. ...but as it wasnt a huge difference in money decided it was a good bet to keep my wife in a good mood as we were in London for a special ocasion. In the process of booking the "executive rather than the normal twin I missed the small proint that said that this did not include Breakfast so ended up paying an extra £20 per day for breakfast. Advantages: Excellent location, very reasonably priced, high quality of service, cleanliness & efficiency. Easy to book online.
Disadvantages: Temperature control in room (we were very hot), drinks prices in bar a little steep even for central London.

Advantages: lovely rooms, great restaurant
Disadvantages: noisy road

I sent my parents to this hotel whilst in London seeing a show. The room was £185 for the night, it was a superior double room. Breakfast was included which they said was delicious. They ate in the hotel reataurant and again really enjoyed it. To people travelling to London i would recommend, however a couple of disadvantages are as follows 1) a room above the 2nd floor is a must as the hotel is on a very busy road. 2) if going to see a show in the ...

This hotel was a mixed bag. I stayed with a colleague for business purposes. We stayed for one night, mid-week on April 7th 2008. I stayed in a room on the second floor and my colleague was on the first floor. On the plus side - If you want a hotel close to a tube station, this is perfect. I booked two single rooms for myself and a colleague, we both got double rooms, which were spacious. The bed was comfortable, linen clean, water hot and the bathroom was clean.
