I'm not one really for staying in top class hotels, but if you've got the money then I would definately recommend staying somewhere like the Marble Arch Marriott. Be warned though it is very expensive, for a weekend I spent nearly £300.
At around £100 per night for a average room it does attract the higher class of customer, but there isn't as much snobbery as I'd expected from a 4 star hotel. This price includes Sky TV in the room (which themselves were very nice with a king-size bed) and free access to the gym, pool, jacuzzi and saunas. You'd think with the price of rooms being this much that the room service and bar/restaurant prices would be reasonable. You'd be very wrong. The food was very nice but you are looking at paying around £8 for a sandwich and £3.50 for a bottle of beer.
The only complaint I would have would be the amount of non-british staff. I'm not racist but it was sometimes hard to communicate with them as their English wasn't brilliant, especially over the phone.
Apart from that my stay in this hotel was very pleasant and I would recommend it to anyone staying in London.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
You asked for more comments... well firstly you do not write in enough detail in all of your opinions that I have read so far. Consumers cannot make good decisions on products after reading your opinions. They are too 'bitty' they need much more detail included on them. Please write more, you don't need to write pages, just inclde all the major facts, a few opinions of your own and then wrap it up quickly. This will then give you a quality opinion that is also concise and easy on reader's eyes. Please spread your work out more too and spell check your work and do not be biased when writing opinions, write about both the bad and good points of a product. I hope that this has helped you, follow my tips and everyone else's on this site and you will get more reads for your opinions. (I noticed that the read rates were very low on most of your opinions). Check out the tips section on this site for more information. By the way is TallPaul73 a friend of yours? All your opinions have been rated very helpful by him (the ones I have noticed anyway). I hopew there isn't any cheating going on here as your opinion, honestly, was not up to the very helpful standard. Either that or I just have extremely high standards! Good luck and keep on at it!
