You will find Marriott hotels all over the world, there is even more than one Marriott hotel in London. I stayed at the Marble Arch Marriott which was in a good location (not far from Oxford Street and Hyde Park).
I did not personally choose to stay at this hotel. I spent a weekend here for a hen night and luckily got the room for a very good price. My stay here was a pleasant one and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in staying in a nice hotel.
***THE MARBLE ARCH MARRIOTT***
From the outside this hotel does not look much, but the inside is attractive. It has 240 rooms which are on 12 floors. The room I stayed in was nice and comfortable. There was a double bed and a table with two chairs and there were good mirrors. The bathroom was a fairly good size (not big but adequate) and the bath with shower worked well. The room and bathroom were both very clean.
There was a mini bar in the bedroom and a television. This was nice but not necessary, and I didn't make use of either. the decor of the room was bright and quite attractive. The bed was lovely and comfortable.
Facilities/services -------------------------
This did not really interest me, but I know that some of you will be interested so I will quickly describe the facilities/services. This hotel offers a shoeshine service and newspapers delivered to the room. The newspaper was quite handy as was the fruit that was given to us on arrival, however I did not make use of the shoeshine service!
Additionally the hotel offers a laundry service, 24-hour room service, concierge desk, dinner delivery, safe deposit boxes, foreign exchange and a daily housekeeping service. Perhaps best of all the facilities is the swimming pool and fitness centre, although I also did not get to make use of these during my stay.
Places to eat -------------------
I did not eat at the hotel during my stay, however there are two choices: Chats Cafe Bar and Mediterrano.
Parking ------------
On-site parking is £4.25 per hour and £28.50 a day!
***PRICES***
A deluxe room (1 king or 2 double beds) will cost £135.00 per night (excluding tax). A top range (Premier room) which has one king size bed, sofa bed and seating area will set you back around £249 excluding tax. Take a look at the website for specific rates for the dates when you wish to stay: http://marriott.co.uk/Channels/globalSites/propertypage/UK/
***CONCLUSION***
This is a nice hotel for those who like to stay in a good hotel with quality facilities. I think the price of the hotel was a little high including the drinks! Overall the hotel was clean, attractive and comfortable and the staff were helpful. Best of all, the location of this hotel was great - not far from Oxford Street.

I've met lots of people here for coffee - did you know there's actually 2 Marriotts at Marble Arch? The one on George Street and another one right on the corner of Park Lane/Marble Arch (except they call that one the Marriott Park Lane) Confusing eh? Especially when trying to get a taxi!

sounds nice, never really liked hotels, the longer you stay the smaller and smaller your wallet seems to get, and this happens too fast in hotels!
