Veeraswamy - top choice for a spicy Sunday
Advantages: Delicious food, some unusual dishes, good value special offers Disadvantages: Expensive drinks, high service charge, staff occasionally over attentive
...her separately. Veeraswamy was every bit as good as we’d expected and, unusually for us as we like to try new places, we both said we’d happily go back. The prix fixe menu was exceptional value and you can’t imagine anyone not taking advantage of it. However, I would say that the main courses are a little expensive if you don’t order the prix fixe menu. Although I’d have preferred few check-backs from the staff, the service was on the whole excellent; ... ...way the waiters checked with the chef about whether any of the dishes we ordered contained nuts (not just the dessert). I’d have preferred to have had one waiter attend to us throughout as I wouldn’t have had to explain twice about my nut allergy, but this is a minor niggle. I would recommend Veerasway without hesitation. It’s in an easy to reach and find location, is stylish and comfortable and offers an excellent standard of cooking. I enjoyed ...

Great restaurant in North West London
Advantages: Great service and honest welcome Disadvantages: None to report.
...cuisine to customers in Eastcote. Eastcote is located in North West London. The store is located on Eastcote High Street which is a quite posh and upmarket area of North West London. I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions including birthday and ordinary family celebrations at this venue. Located to the right of this shop is painting and decorating shop and to the left is a stationery shop.
The thing other than the local and convenient ... ...been taken in by the high standards of service throughout the meal ordering and serving process. The staff are professional, attentive and courteous. The main reason I like the restaurant was based on seeing the food freshly served from trolleys and seeing and hearing the food sizzle. To me seeing the latter factor convinced me that the food was well prepared and well served. I totally enjoyed myself here for around an hour a time.

I'll be Russian back to Trojka
Advantages: Great food at surprisingly cheap prices, good service Disadvantages: Not full wheelchair access, didn't have our drinks choices
...we'd called in advance as Trojka was very busy all night. The restaurant has a red façade which stands out from the other shops and restaurants. It was a dark and rainy Saturday night and from the outside Trojka looked very cosy and welcoming. On entering we were met with a wall of chatter and laughter, everyone sounded like they were having a great time and you knew instantly that it was going to be a good evening. Although they had our booking ... ...but this splendid dish at Trojka persuaded me that enough time has passed for me to enjoy dill again. Himself was agog when his Georgian stew arrived. When we were in Georgia he was not then a meat eater and had to listen while I extolled the virtues of Georgian lamb stews (on that occasion containing sour green plums). His bowl was slightly deeper than mine and contained a huge serving a very dark read, almost wine coloured thick broth in which ...

Red Hot Chilli Peppers at Chilango
Advantages: tasty, filling mexican food, quick friendly service Disadvantages: No desserts, not for you if you don't like mexican
...a restaurant he would be Chilango, one of my favourite places to eat when I want something quick, tasty and a bit different to the normal take away fare. Chilango is Mexican slang for someone who is seeking adventure in the bright lights of a city. So that's me. It's a mini chain of Mexican restaurants with two in London (Fleet Street and Upper Street in Islington) and one in Sheffield. They have a small but good menu of Mexican food ready to take ... ...their Flee Street branch, as I am a big fan of the humongous burritos which are amazing value for moiety. The best way to explain the ordering process is that it is like Subway, as they make your food to order and you can see the filling displayed very easily., but with lovely tasty Mexican food. STEP 1 Choose your base. You can have a burrito (flour tortilla with the filling folded inside, Taco (corn tortilla) , Salad self explanatory) or Totopos ...

The genuine Chinatown Dim Sum Experience
Advantages: Excellent food, good variety for vegetarians, good service, good prices Disadvantages: Queues can be long if you arrive much after midday
...THE RESTAURANT The Golden Dragon is located on the pedestrianised heart of Chinatown, Gerrard Street, toward the end near to one of the pagodas, towards Wardour Street. It's quite sizeable, with the dining area spread across 2 floors. As you enter, the stairs are to the immediate right, leading to the upper dining floor. For dim sum it doesn't matter too much which floor you're on as this isn't a place which offers trolley service. The small ... ...can't remember. I think the fact that I didn't make a mental note of it would suggest it was good value as I'm sure if it wasn't I would have remembered.
