Grrrreat times at Tiger Tiger
Review of Tiger Tiger (London) by waitress88

Advantages: Great food and restaurant staff, good value for money in the restaurant
Disadvantages: Very crowded, average music

...say that the service at Tiger Tiger was impeccable is a big deal! The food was also very tasty, my boyfriend and I opted for the Fajitas (I had chicken and he had steak) which were nicely presented and tasted fabulous. I cleared my plate! We had booked online so got a cool 50% off our meal and even got free entry to the nightclub to party all night after our meal. The club itself was very fun, a mixed crowd and reasonable music - nothing notable ...
...The cocktails were good if a little expensive (on my salary) at £6 for a mojito, but it's the west end after all, what was I expecting!???? Overall \i had a really good time there and would recommend it to anybody looking for a fun saturday night out. ... Read review

* Hero @ Nero *
Review of Café Nero (London) by 1st2thebar

Advantages: Great blends of beans to choose from
Disadvantages: WiFi - well lack of it

CAFE NERO CIAO Review - Date published: 04-09-08 Titled - ' Hero @ Nero' - The Coffee culture - Anyone fancy a coffee? It is certainly one of lifes better inventions the coffee bean. It is understandable that the coffee culture has created a frenzy amongst normally sane people who would of normally got up earlier and made themselves a coffee at home about 10 years ago. Instead we troll through heavy morning traffic. Stumble into a Cafe Nero and ...
...coating syrup; before going to work. It is official the coffee culture has taken control and Cafe Nero has made big leaps and bounds in profits over the last few years.. as have most of the coffee chains in UK; and Nero is no exception. -The House of Nero- Cafe Nero's in-house design has emulated a stylised coffee shop that would not feel out of place even in the outer Mongolian. It is so unoffensive. The smoking rooms have now disappeared which ... Read review

Lacking in Hollywood Glamour
Review of Planet Hollywood, London by silver-sarah

Advantages: One of a kind, unique memorabilia
Disadvantages: Overpriced, noisy

...weekend and decided to try Planet Hollywood. I am neither a fan of fast food or particularly enamoured by Hollywood, but I thought perhaps it would be a spectacle - I had in mind the restaurant that John Travolta and Winona Rider go to in Pulp Fiction. Looking at the website, it looked like it would be busy, especially on a Saturday so we decided to go for an early meal between lunch and dinner and see if we were lucky to get a table. There is only ...
...this is the fault of Planet Hollywood, but it did mean that we arrived very tired and very hungry at about 4.30pm. I'd suggest that you get a better map than we had - Planet Hollywood is really only a couple of minutes walk from Leicester Square. At street level there is a merchandise shop - I'm not so keen on wearing branded T shirts but if you do fall in love with the restaurant you can proclaim it by wearing one of a large range of T shirts, ... Boring, overpriced, poorly presented food
Review of Angus Steakhouse, Aberdeen, London by Ronald30

Advantages: Difficult to think of any
Disadvantages: As far from a decent meal as one could get for the price

Four people for an after-matinee early supper. What a disappointment! Mediocre food, overpriced, shocking presentation. Steaks were OK but very ordinary - neither seasoned nor garnished. It came as a piece of steak and a couple of lettuce leaves, any thing to go with it was a side order at extra cost. Pasta meal arrived cool, and had to be returned; replacement only slightly better. Chicken kebab was dry on a large pile of totally plain rice - all ... Read review

Maze Restaurant
Review of Maze Restaurant, London by AntJ

Advantages: Everything about the restaurant. Food, service, value for money
Disadvantages: None

From the pavement you could quite easily walk past withour realising it is there. However, once you move inside the restaurant you are immediately struck by the size of the dinning room. The decor is simplistic but modern and the layout gives a feeling of spaciousness. We were greeted at the reception desk and promptly shown to our table. Once at the table we felt a little forgotten as it was quite a while before the menu arrived. However, the experience ...
...was very knowledgable about the menu, professional but most of all friendly. She talked us through the menu in a very informal manner, making us feel welcome and in a position to make an informed choice. My wife opted for the 4 course menu which was excellent value at £28.50 whilst I went for the tapas style tasting menu. The highlight for me was the BLT, which came in a cocktail glass and is like nothing I have tasted before. My wife was similarly ... Read review
