There are alot of places to visit around London, like The Tower of London which is worth seeing like the crown jewels, and see the ravens aswell.
Big Ben and the houses of Parliment, they are interesting because you do not know who you see coming out and going in there. There is Buckingham Palace also to check as our Queen and family live there, you can always tell if the queen is in residence, you look to see if the union jack is flying or not, if it is the queen is in residence.
Plenty of parks like Hyde park to sit in and watch things or feed animals. There is also Trafalgar square to see the pigeons, and you can also feed them, but they bombard you so be warned. For the kids there is Hamleys the biggest toyshop in London, but is expensive, but have a pair of good shoes as it is very large over a few floors.London Zoo is a good place aswell as there are plenty of different animals and the staff are very friendly, it doesn't cost that much.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants to have a drink and have something to eat. Prices vary where you eat, and of course what you eat. You can get around london by either bus or by the underground, both ways go everyway, but check where you are going and plan your journey, like on the underground you can get a cheap day return which you use on all the underground, but check what zones you will be going to.
There is also Greenwich where there is the Dome and the Maritime Museum, and the Royal Observatory where you can see the Greenwich mean time line that seperates the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Also the Cutty Sark is here and the Thames Barrier and plenty more things. There are plenty of places to stay from B&Bs to the Ritz and Savoy five star hotels so they cater for every pocket.
