London is my favourite city and I wouldn’t trade it for any other city in the world. I know London like the back of my hand; composed of boroughs and areas London is a very large and complex city that can take years to know. Having grown up in London I have seen the city change over the years. Although London has become one of the most expensive cities in Europe, it still has not lost its appeal and continues to draw in the tourists in numbers.
London has everything.............
Education: *********** British education – You have lots of schools, colleges and universities that offer all levels of education. There are more courses on offer now than they were ten years ago. You can practically study any subject you like and there are now more evening courses for mature adults that want to get back to studying.
Attractions: ************* London has more than 400 attractions you can visit. This city is full of history and offers some of the best museums in Europe. The famous Madame Tausauds, Natural History museum. If you want art then the National Gallery will give you art. It houses some of the best works of art and is located opposite Trafalgar Square, another popular attraction. Tower of London, it doesn’t matter what time of the day it is, there are always people around Tower bridge taking pictures, its full of history and of course contains the crown jewels, popular with the tourist and locals
Restaurants: ************ There are not many cities in Europe that can boast as having every available cuisine dish but London can. Restaurants are everywhere, whether its central London or neighbouring boroughs. You have the choice of Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Spanish, Italian, Thai and so on. I’m sure you all get the picture.
Shopping & Fashion: ******************* London will spoil you in this department, there are lots of shopping areas scattered all over London, which offers everything you, can possibly want. Central London has hundreds of fashion department stores and smaller designer outlets. Selfridges, Harrods, Debenhams, John Lewis and many more.
Parks: ****** Regents Park is my favourite park in London, this park is complete in everyway, you have London Zoo on the premises, lakes, restaurants, acres of playing field, and beautiful wildlife. Regents is not the only park in London – Hyde park, St James Park, Holland Park, all acres of playing field and pleasure to take walks in.
Accommodation: ************** Superb hotels and hostels to choose from – ranging from 2 star to five star. Although accommodation can be expensive in London, the choice is so wide that I am sure you will find a hotel/hostel that will suit your finance bracket.
Nightlife: ********** London is vibrant and there is always something going on. Clubs are plenty a long with great pubs and wine bars. Clubs close late and most wine bars are opened until about 2.00am.
Music: ****** No city in Europe can beat London (England) when it comes to music, apart from USA all the music filters out all London first and then slowly distributes to other European cities. The best groups are based here and music will continue to be a force in this country.
Why live elsewhere when London has it all.... Ok , So it my not have the sunshine but who cares.
I'd love to know what you particularly like - what's your favourite restaurant or your favourite attraction, for example?

I loved London when I moved there as a teenaged thirty years ago from the Midlands, but I am having the same love affair with Scotland now. Enjoyed your op though.
