Sign Up in Hollywood!

Advantages: You get to see the sign up close without obstructions
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

Hollywood Sign Tour When I was in Hollywood I searched everywhere to get a tour which took me up close to the Hollywood sign and we came across Hollywood Fantasy Tours. **Hollywood Fantasy Tours Company** This tour company is on the Hollywood Blvd beside the historical Pantages Theatre (which is also worth while checking out). The actual office of this tour company is small and tacky with memorabilia everywhere. Even so the staff are quirky and ...
...be disappointed seeing it from Hollywood Blvd. The directions for the office are to take the freeway to Hollywood Blvd then go west for ¼ mile. Look for the Pantages Theatre on the right just before Vine Street and the office will be beside it. Parking spaces are available however limited. If you go on the subway there is a stop more or less beside the offices however you will have to cross the road. It says on the leaflet reservations are recommended ...

Grand Tour of LA!

Advantages: get to see lots in short space of time
Disadvantages: don't get much time in each place

...Plus you can see the Hollywood sign from the strip, granted it is rather small and in the distance, but nevertheless you can get a picture of the sign and the hills surrounding it. At this stop you will have some time to explore however you better walk fast as there is a good distance to cover and explore in a short time your tour guide will give you. After this stop it is back onto the bus and towards the music centre where you will see theatres, ...
...brief stop to take a picture of the unique Walt Disney Concert Hall with its odd shape and steel like exterior. It really is like no other concert hall I have ever seen before. Back onto the bus again and we drove through Chinatown getting to see the Chinese quarter with all the small Chinese style shops. Again we did not stop here but instead onto Marina Del Ray which is the largest man-made small boat harbour. We then went to see an old Mexican ...

You can be a movie star too!!

Advantages: Great rides, fun for all ages, interesting,
Disadvantages: Expensive but well worth it

...use for money off. Universal Studios is an all day event so make sure you get there when it opens. Driving there is really easy as it is jsut off a major freeway and then when you get there, and this is a classis, you can park in Jurassic Parking!!! First thing to do is definitely the studio tour tram as you get a complete view of the whole park and also see some very familiar sites, the Desperate Housewives street, the main square in Back to the ...
...beware, you will get wet on the Jurassic Park ride. After you ahve finished in the park do take time out to stay at City Walk (the shops and restaurants outside of the park). They are excellent fun, if what sometimes overrun with high school kids. BB Kings Blues Restaurant is great for music and the food is pretty good too. All in all a great day out. ...

Review of Universal Studios & Tour, Los Angeles

The Perfect Zoo. Not the Largest.

Advantages: Get close to Famous critters!
Disadvantages: None. This is the perfect Zoo!

What is it you like about Zoos? Seriously think about it for a moment. Do you really need to see 5,001 species of Birds like at the San Deigo zoo? How about the size of the cages? Do you want to spend twenty minutes waking between exhibits like at many "open" zoos where they claim to care more about their animals? Like the cages so small that you don't even have to walk? Then you'd probably not see the zoo in business very long, because the zoo's ...
...I have been to Zoos around the world. Bankok, Barcelona, London, Innsbrook, San Diego, Vienna, Orlando, Boston, Nashville, Atlanta, Memphis, Chicago, Big Bear CA, Kansas City... And probably a dozen others I've forgotten about. I love zoos but I've never had the pleasure of seeing one done just right until I first visited the LA Zoo in 2006. It's big enough to have a wide variety but small enough to walk all around in one visit. It's pens are EXACTLY ...

Review of Los Angeles Zoo

Bring out your inner child!

Advantages: Great place make dreams come true!
Disadvantages: Queues can happen

Ever since I was a little girl it has always been a dream of mine to go to Disney land, so with my trip to LA planned it was a perfect opportunity to go to the place "Where dreams really do come true" As soon as we walked through the gates the magic started, the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end as I walked up the Main Street with the wonderful fairy tale place in my sights, it really was an amazing feeling to be in Disney land!! With so ...
...where to start your journey but thankfully Disney is laid out by different zones for example, Frontier Land, The magic Kingdom etc so you can easily go from one to another without missing anything out. A lot of people think that Disney is just for kids but it really isn't, all of the rides where designed so that adults can also join in as well, we learned that Walt Disney wanted it to be a place for everyone to enjoy, and to share the delights with ...
