Four Points LAX Airport

Advantages: Nice quiet hotel, whcih didnot suffer from Airport noise
Disadvantages: Only good for airport stopovers, or business in the surrounding areas

It was en suite bathroom which was again modern in marble with a bath. The bedroom was very clean, with a nice fresh smell. In The Heart of Hollwood

Advantages: good sized room, brilliant prices and location
Disadvantages: internet charge, reception hours

...loved to go up the Hollywood Hills and get ‘trashed’ but I just wanted to see what LA had to offer, although if you’re up for that kind of thing the option is there as they do invite everyone. There is no dining room here they have a drinks machine and a lounge area to sit and watch TV which is small but ok, there is a kitchen to cook breakfast but you had to write your name on everything so it didn’t get stolen even though a lot seemed to use everyone ...

There is a supermarket, pharmacy about 10 minutes away as well as a selection of restaurants and a shopping centre. It is also next to the El Capitan Theatre where they film the chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live so I saw a few celebrities while there. There are lots of people on Hollywood Blvd giving away flyers ...

Want a bit of Hollywood on a Budget??

Advantages: Great cheap friendly helpful
Disadvantages: can be noisy in the evening

Superb location and value for money

Advantages: Location, great old fashioned feel to the place, quiet
Disadvantages: Possibility of a very squeaky bed.

I've never felt so unwelcome anywhere!

Advantages: situation I suppose, but USA Hostels is just down the road
Disadvantages: where do i start?

Filthy, especially bathrooms! Worst thing was the unfriendly staff!!! My friend and I were there waiting for another friend who was getting in late. We woke up to a note on the door saying our friend was in the 'lobby', but the manager insisted that "'THREE groups of men" had been looking for us, and did we "have appointments with these men? because we are not allowed to recieve clients in the hostel". When I asked if he was suggesting that I was ...

As we were checking out, he actually started another argument, saying that we had been pushing him (!?) and that we were rude (I really don't think I was out of line asking what I did) and when we asked for his name to report him, he ended up telling us to get out or he'd call the police.
