I was lucky enough to experience one of the most breathtaking cities in the world! I travelled to LA over 3-4 years ago, so things may have changed by then but I'm going to write about my view, about 4 years ago. I went with my mum, brother and 2 other relatives. We stayed with some friends of ours which was a real fun spoiler as I really wanted to stay at a hotel as I've heard their hotels are superb! Anyway we stayed around 5 days (very little time) but in that small amount of time it felt like forever. We enjoyed ourselves as much as possible. We treated everyday as the last.
My 1st day there.
I bear in mind the first few hours we had arrived at LA, after unpacking and taking a short break, we were all dying to go to the near by beach, that was around 10-15 minutes away. We were lucky enough that we had arrived in LA at daytime, which meant that it was sunny, which meant that we could go to the beach! Soon we were making sandcastles and splashing in the water! The great thing about the beach was that it wasn't fully packed- even on such a hot day like this one. The atmosphere there was astounding, no crowded people sunbathing on the sand and not knowing where to step, no people crowding for the ice-cream van and most importantly you wont get lost while in the water, whereas in other places you cant find yourself back on the sand!
My 2nd day there.
The next day we were worn-out from all the amusement of yesterday's day out. But we were still in the mood for more! So we decided to go to Disneyland and soon after 30-45 minutes in the car- which felt like a second- we were on the rides with the wind in our hairs and the water dripping down our backs! The whole experience was marvellous, but the downhill was that the items and entrance were quite pricey but every penny counted and it was more than worth it! There were a mixture of water, dry, scary, entertaining rides and many more. The food was outstanding, very tasty and yummy! I enjoyed every bit of the park, everything including: rides, food, entertainment, views and experiences. If you also get the chance to flee to LA, I would DEFINETLY recommend you go to Disneyland. It is without a doubt better than the Paris one "by a 1000 times". Imagine the fun of Disneyland Paris- now *(time)* that "by a 1000"- now can you imagine how much fun this one is!
My 3rd day there.
On the next day of our trip, we went to Hollywood studios!!! Which was probably the best experience of my entire life! It gave me the feeling that I, myself was on the one of Hollywood's famous studios but including a thousand rides on set! We experienced remarkable rides, from wet to scary. We experienced amusing entertainment based on media and TV and we experienced how films are made (which means now I'm never scared of watching scary movies, as I know it's all a fake!!) One of the disadvantages was that the lines were extremely long- but I suppose that that just shows how much the rides are worth waiting for!
My 4th day there.
This day was the last day before we leave! So we thought we need to do some SHOPPING! Which I have heard is the best part of LA, and soon as I was at the shopping mall, shopping I certainly agreed- Shopping is one of LA's best experiences!! The shopping mall had so much to look at and enjoy, the clothes although were a bit over the top with money but that didn't stop me from looking around and buying, the scenery was out of this world, there were waterfalls, flowers, benches to rest on and all the things to complete a well beautiful shopping mall but most importantly it was neat and tidy! The food was once again scrumptious- I would say LA is one of the top ten cities for deliciously sold food! I enjoyed every part of the shopping mall and the only disadvantage was once again the money but that definitely wasn't a problem!
My 5th day there.
This is our last day in LA, which was very upsetting as we had to leave. On this very day we couldn't go out so we stayed at home and packed. It was a great shame as we were planning to go to Niagara Falls but didn't have enough time to go, with a bit of luck we may be going someday in the future!

I would recommend every one to go to LA. IT is the city of entertainment, fun, food, shopping, happiness, and non-crowded beaches! I had an amazing time in LA I would definitely love to go once again and the experience was incredible and so different to England. I am so lucky to have been given the chance to go to LA and wish to get that chance really soon again!!!
