. There are a couple of shops on-site- jewellery, gift and newsagents. Can't tell you about Chariots night club, we tended to amuse ourselves as it was somewhat dark and dismal in there. The entertainment during the day was very good for the youngsters and kept our 12 year old entertained most of the time so much so we could hardly get him out of the hotel! (darts,football ,volleyball,water-polo) Archery has an age limit, think its 16. The pool is lovely, massive but it had to be closed twice while we were there because of little one's having accidents, so it had to be cleaned. The Beach. Well there isn't one really, a bit of sand and shingle but no good for bathing. On the beach, value for money hotel

Advantages: Location, service, food
Disadvantages: Few extra facilities

If you are looking for a relaxed holiday with not too many frills then the Ledra Beach is for you. Its a friendly and inviting hotel with excellent food I have to say.....probably one of the best advantages of this hotel. The accommodation is a little tired but nontheless comfortable and clean. An animation team keep you entertained day and night with a few outside acts a couple of times a week. Aqua aerobics, childrens games, quizzes keep you occupied through the day. We booked an all inclusive holiday and we had no complaints whatsover with the choice, variety and quality of food, it has to be one of the best menus on the island in any hotel! For breakfast you can choose to have a British fry up, healthy cereals and yogurts, fresh fruits or a more continental style breakfast of fresh cheeses, hams etc. Juices, coffee ...

3 not 4* hotel, tired in places but good food

Advantages: Excellent food. Good value for money.
Disadvantages: Overcrowded swimming pool area. Pool area very slippery.

We recently stayed at the Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel, Paphos. We thought the hotel was ok and good value for money but its best point was the food. The carpets in the corridors could be replaced as they were rather tired. The paintwork could be repainted particularly around skirting board and floor areas. But the hotel was generally clean. It has reasonable seating areas although a lot of the loungers were big plastic cushioned seating rather than leather or fabric but were of resonable condition. We had a nice room overlooking the trees around the pool. It was a little close to the outside bar area so if you wanted an early night you would hear noise from people talking and any entertainment that might have been going on. This didn't bother us as we didn't go to bed till late and the airconditioning and my earplugs (Husband snores ...
