We stayed for a week on a Half Board basis and thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. The choice of channels on the TV was better than some hotels I've stopped in with Sky News, BBC World, another BBC channel so we could watch Eastenders (no comments please).
Food
Breakfast was awsome! They had a chef there that was fantastic. Fresh pancakes, Omlette, meat, cheese, plenty of different types of breads, fruit juices, coffee, tea, water, milk. Every time you went to order pancakes / omlette's, the chef was always smiling and pleased to make your food fresh for you, and it was gorgeous.
We didn't bother with Lunch at the hotel as we were always out, but the evening meals were again very very good.
The choice was better some nights than others, but there was no problem in finding something that you like from the selection. Chicken, Rice, Pasta, Roast Pork Gammon, Fish were all available during our stay. The food was always nice and hot, and was not drying up under the lighting.
Dessert was also an adventure, I mean, after such a big Breakfast and the main course, there wasn't much room left, but you could choose from Jelly, Cakes (and there were plenty to choose from), Ice cream, the list goes on.
Paphos itself
We've been to Paphos 3 times now and absolutely love the place. The pace of life there is much slower than in England, but it's not so slow that you fall asleep waiting for something to happen. The climate is extremely good as you would expect in Cyprus and temparatures ranged from 68 Centigrade up to around 90 degrees, but thankfully, the rooms have air con and it cools down nicely in the evenings.
I would certainly recommend that you take some Moscito repellent with you and a plug in type is good for the room during the evening and through the night, along with a spray for your arms if you go out at night.
Flight times are around 4.5 hours from England (Birmingham), and there's a pretty good choice of flight operators to choose from. You can also find a very good deal if you are prepared to do your homework on the Web before you book. We've flown with Britannia twice and Helios too.
I would definately recommend this hotel. If you are looking for night life, you could possibly go a little nearer to the centre, but the nearer you go, the noisier it will get. At this hotel, you are only about 10 mins from the centre, but far enough away to keep the peace and quiet if you want it.
