Advantages: Clean, spaceous, pool, gym, sauna, restaurant, friendly staff. Disadvantages: Antiquated equipment in gym, low chlorine levels in pools.

I arrived at this hotel on the 7th December 2005 for a weeks long 'winter sun' holiday. From Paphos airport, the hotel was very simple to find, despite the various building projects going on in the surrounding area (will not affect quality of stay).
I was very encouraged to see numerous awards from 'Thomson Holidays' on the wall, for various accolades such as 'Best Winter Sun Apartments' and 'Best Summer Sun Apartments' for countless years, with the last one being awarded for the Winter of 2004.
Upon arrival, the hotel staff were very friendly and were on hand with a much welcomed glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Our bags were taken from us and placed in our rooms. We were informed of our arrangements and given our keys and allowed to procede to our room.
The rooms are very spaceous, I was staying in a 4 bed apartment, this consisted of a main sitting room/kitchen area, housing a cooker, a table, 4 chairs, various kitchen utensils, 2 sofa beds, and a cable television. On the right of the entrance was a bathroom with a Bath, wall shower, basin, WC and mirror. The third room was the master bedroom, consisting of 2 beds, 2 chests of drawers and a large walk in wardrobe. Outside of our private patio doors, was a beautifully paved patio with a further table and 4 chairs (perfect for the evening).
The rooms are cleaned every other day (unless requested otherwise - I had mine done every day!). This includes new towels, beds made, floors cleaned, bins emptied and they will even do the washing up (I found this out by mistake!).
In the centre of the complex is a large pool, this is not heated, however, the midday sun took care of that problem during our stay. Surrounding the pool were countless sun loungers. There is also a veranda with large padded loungers, resembling double beds!
The inside pool is a small octagon shaped 'tub'. It is perfect for competant children to play around in, and also serves as a large hot tub (upon request at reception). I found that the inside pool was not chlorinated to the same level as in the UK, so take note before entering. There is also a sauna and steam room present, however, these are at extra charge of around £6 (cypriot pounds) (current ex rate 26/1/06 - 1GBP=0.84CYP) for a session.
The gym appears more as a token gesture than somehting to be taken seriously. Half of the equipment is damaged or broken and very antiquated. The treadmill and cycling machine were working fine during my stay and various weight lifting machines were in use, but i dare say this will depend on your individual visit!
The games room for the kids is also a nice gesture, but could do with some light refurbishment (and an air freshner!). This room contains various arcade games machines and a ping pong table, with a snooker table just outside the doorway. All activites in here are at extra cost of around 1CYP.
The restaurant is available for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and is absolutely superb. I can only really comment on breakfast as this was the only meal I frequently ate in the hotel, but this was a buffet style with a large range of cooked foods, such as sausage, egg and mushrooms etc, cereals, fruits and bread. There is also a juice machine, serving freshly squeezed orange, grapefruit and pineapple juice. Meals are reasonably priced with breakfast costing around 5CYP and Dinner around 10CYP per head.
There is a cocktail bar with indoor and outdoor seating on a beautifully decorated sun terrace. This serves a variety of local beers and spirits as well as those from around the world. During my stay they had special evenings with free cocktails before 8pm and so on.
Paphos (new town) and Kato Paphos (old town) are only a short 10 minute walk from the hotel, Paphos contains a variety of shops and modern bars and restaurants run by foreigners tailored towards the tourists, whereas Kato Paphos contains many traditional restaurants run by local Cyriots.
Overall the complex is very clean and wonderfully decked out with palm trees and exotic foliage. A very pleasant place to stay, with excellent facilities and very helpful staff. I did not have a single problem and would definately go again to this hotel. Strongly recomended to anyone thikning of travelling to Cyprus.
Advantages: Location, Cleanliness, Ameneties, People Disadvantages: Only One Shop within 2 minute walk
King Jason Apartments Paphos must be one of the most organised and well rounded places to stay on your Summer or Winter holidays. The staff could not be friendlier and the place itself is hard to beat. When you first arrive there is always numerous staff there to welcome you in, with a refreshing glass of pure orange juice or apple juice, morning, noon or night. In our experience it is usually about 3am!
Your suitcases are taken along to your room ... ...have your very own home in Cyprus. The decor is simple but exquisite; white with hints of yellow to colour the room. The bathrooms all sparkling white with all ameneties, much like the Kitchen which has everything you could need. The balconies of the apartment makes the feeling of being on holiday all the better as you can sit out with a nice drink and a good book and hear the ripples of the water without moving out of your apartment.
If you are ...
