We booked an all inclusive holiday and we had no complaints whatsover with the choice, variety and quality of food, it has to be one of the best menus on the island in any hotel!
For breakfast you can choose to have a British fry up, healthy cereals and yogurts, fresh fruits or a more continental style breakfast of fresh cheeses, hams etc. Juices, coffee, tea all included of course.

For breakfast you can choose to have a British fry up, healthy cereals and yogurts, fresh fruits or a more continental style breakfast of fresh cheeses, hams etc. Juices, coffee, tea all included of course.
Lunch - choose from a great selection of tasty salads, hot meals with good choice of veg and potatoes, some days there were burgers, nuggets etc for the kids which keeps the happy!
And for dinner again they offer a great choice to suit every palette, theme nights included as well which was nice when they had a Cypriot night so you could sample the local specialities. Fish, meat and vegetarian dishes were always available, honestly no one could complain about the food here, they excelled themselves for a 4 star hotel.
The all inclusive drinks were, as in most hotels, of the local variety.....spirits etc and of course tea and coffee, soft drinks are available all day until 11pm. Ice cream and snacks are served mid morning and mid afternoon....it just never ends!
Facilities wise there isnt much apart from the swimming pools, bars, library, a games room, souvenir shop etc. But the hotel is situated right on the beach and close to few bars and restaurants. That was enough for us as we wanted a relaxing holiday with something to do in the evening if we decided we didnt want to spend it in the hotel.
There is a local bus route which stops outside the hotel which will take you into the old town of Paphos - there is a market there once a week. Or you could go sightseeing - the Castle at Paphos harbour, Tombs of the Kings and lots more. The whole of Paphos is actually on the World Heritage List so you can imagine there is plenty to see if you are into your history.
Taxis are plentiful but I would order from reception and get them to quote you a price as some of the drivers tend to charge what they want. We actually hired a car from a lady in the reception area. Prices were very competitive, the car was good quality and the service great. Aphrodite's rock is only about 20 minutes away, Coral Bay where the beaches are a bit better around 15 minutes away too and Curium beach about 30 minutes drive, Troodos you can get to in about an hour and Limassol 45 minutes. So its definately worth looking into if you want to get out and about and see a bit of the island.
Most of the staff in the hotel are really friendly and will go out of their way for you, the girls at reception were great apart from one of them could hardly speak English which they should be able to speak as the majority of holiday makers there are Brits!
As mentioned the rooms were a bit tired, they could do with a facelift to be honest but they are comfortable and clean and for the price you pay you would not really expect luxury standards, you dont tend to spend much time in there anyway in the summer and the public areas are spacious with comfy furniture and plenty of seating space in the reception / bar area. Sunbeds were plentiful too by the pool.
So for a overall great value holiday the Ledra hotel comes highly recommended. Here's my quick summary:
Location: On the beach, walking distance to amenities, bus routes outside hotel.
Service: Friendly and efficient
Cleanliness: Regular daily cleaning of rooms
Food: Excellent choice, variety and quality cant fault it!
All inclusive basis: Great value for money, plenty available all day
Entertainment:: Good family type entertainment, friendy animators
Advantages: brilliant staff and hotel facilities you can even use the 5* hotel next door. Disadvantages: none
I absolutly loved my holiday to Ledra beach hotel in paphos, with it being just outside the busy centre nearer to Coral Bay there is so much at your finger tips.
WHAT TO SEE:
there is plenty to see indluding the Tomb of the Kings, There are 2 water parks both ranging from around 20 Euro's each but both incredably exciting. Coral Bay in itself is a perfect sight to see in Paphos.
If you want a night out then all you have to do is take a bus to ... ...take you about 10minutes all in all. There is a long street with bars upon bars and everything you need for the perfect night out!
There is also a lovely cocktail bar accross the road from the hotel where you could start your night off. If you fancy a change from the hotel food there is in Coral bay again just a bus ride away a range of different food places and they all look really nice. We never ate out though as we felt no need to as the food ...
