I absolutly loved my holiday to Ledra beach hotel in paphos, with it being just outside the busy centre nearer to Coral Bay there is so much at your finger tips.
WHAT TO SEE:
there is plenty to see indluding the Tomb of the Kings, There are 2 water parks both ranging from around 20 Euro's each but both incredably exciting. Coral Bay in itself is a perfect sight to see in Paphos.
If you want a night out then all you have to do is take a bus to Coral bay and then walk to bar street which will take you about 10minutes all in all. There is a long street with bars upon bars and everything you need for the perfect night out! There is also a lovely cocktail bar accross the road from the hotel where you could start your night off.
If you fancy a change from the hotel food there is in Coral bay again just a bus ride away a range of different food places and they all look really nice. We never ate out though as we felt no need to as the food was just as good in the Ledra beach
hotel.
THE ACTUAL HOTEL:
I would give this hotel a 5*, there was a dress code and men can't wear shorts in the evening and ladies and gents cannot wear trainers for their evening meal. The hotel also joins on to a 5* hotel which you can use all of their facilities and they are just as good as Ledras fantastic facilities.
There are 2 swimming pools one indoor and one outdoor, both very clean and spacious. They have a therapy room so you can have massages etc and they also have a gym which is kept cool with air con and is spacious with a veriety of different equipment ranging from running machines, weights and cross trainers and many more. They also supply you with chilled water.
There are 2 resturants where you can eat and at night one is turned into a bar...you can eat in the 5* hotel aswel as they are all inclusive and owned by the same company. The food was made very well and I had no complaints and there was a wide veriety of different foods. One resturant was in the actual vicinity of the hotel and the other was just set by the pool side and was also used for lite bites in the afternoon. In the afternoon in the poolside resturant they actually did special food afternoons where you could come and try something (normally a sweet) when we were there they did a special greek cake and then they did french crepes/ pancakes. which were brilliant.
The hotel backs onto a beach although great and very scenic in the evening, it does hurt your feet when you walk on the beach in the afternoon so be carful to wear flipflops at all time to avoid blistering.
The hotel rooms again I would say should be on a 5* status although only 4* they were clean, and the bathroom was quite small but still very clean. In our room there were 2 beds both made every morning, the maids never touched any of our stuff and just moved the stuff we had left on our beds onto the floor or the side cabinate. The rooms were supplied with air con, a tv a fridge, complimentary wine and bottled water, complimentary shapoo, body wash, conditioner and soap. There was a balcony at the back of the room opening out of the terrace doors.
The entertainment team at this hotel were brilliant. I have no idea how they work in thise types of conditions. They worked long hours and they performed brilliantly getting everyone in the hotel involved. They had games during the day of mini golf, water polo, suttles and many more games. They also had a kids club for the children. During the afternoon before any of their games started they did a dance which by the end of the holiday everyone got u and did it, which was extreamly fun to get everyone involved and it got people talking and meeting different people which was brilliant. In the evening they put on shows which ranged from them dancing to a miss Ledra...even the men got involved which was great fun for everyone who watched. They had other shows which got the little ones involved. For this reason the hotel was full of families and young couples celebrating the weddings and anniversaries.
The staff at Ledra beach hotel were amazing, if you had a problem it would be sorted in minutes. They never kept you waiting and they lived up to their high standards of the hotel.
I had not 1 complaint on this holiday and I am sure if you go aswel they you will have a brilliant time!!get your holiday booked now as you will not regret it!!
if you have any questions or would like to comment or give me any feedback i would love to hear from you!
