We left Belfast on Saturday 13th October at 13.20 on a codeshare flight with BMI British Midland to connect at Heathrow with Lufthansa to Frankfurt and then on to Amman in Jordan also with Lufthansa. Checking in the baggage was easy and we were checked in all the way to Amman and our seats were assigned all the way too so we were all three of us sat together.We had a 3 hour wait at Heathrow which gave time for shopping and the change in Terminals from 1 to 2.The first Lufthansa flight was from here to Frankfurt and the plane was a very clean and Modern A321 Airbus which carries 220 passengers. The seats were in Leather and the interior legroom was much better than BMI. The inflight snack was a sandwhich Cheese or Chicken and a drink from the bar, nothing exciting but ok. The flight was on time arriving in Frankfurt after 1 hour 15 minutes and we had one hour to change planes. This was easily achieved even though we were departing at the opposite end to where we arrived. Frankfurt Airport has a Monorail style transfer between terminals which is very efficient and easy to get to. Signposts are in English as well as German. The Airport itself is very clean and has smoking areas conveniently place so that there is one within easy reach when needed that doesnt affect other travellers.The Flight to Amman was on an A320 Airbus seating around 180passengers and as with the previos plane leather seats , good legroom , very clean interior. On this 4 hour flight we were served with a hot meal which was adequate again nothing special and a drink from thre bar followed by tea or coffee. As it was a night flight they dimmed the lights until half an hour before landing which was great howevere it did mean that if you wanted a drink you had to use the call button or walk to the galley as they werent coming through the plane. There was also a duty free and gift service which was well priced and all major cards and currencies accepted. All of this for £350 including taxes was extremely good value for money. I wouldnt sday that Lufthansa are the best airline in the world but are efficient, clean on time and adequate in flight service. So if thats ok for you go with it was stress free and no problems.
