I am English and I have been in a realtionship with a German guy for 9 years now. I am always flighing backwards and forwards from Heathrow to Munich every month.
When I first started flying frequently I used to get very cheap deals with other top airlines. After many trips and being constantly annoyed by being delayed (BA) or flights cancelled I started just flighing with Lufthansa. It is the best decision I ever made.
I check in online from my own home the night before. You are allowed to check in 23 hours before your flight departs. You are able to choose your own seat. I just turn up to the airport 45 minutes before my plane takes off. No messing around in long queues anymore!!
Lufthansa is definitely my number one choice for an airline (to germany anyway!)
