Every May I dream about going on one of those cheapo bargain breaks. You know the one I mean £99 for a week some where nice and hot. Well this year I decided sod the bank manager I'm going!!! I was particularly tempted by a couple of Greek holidays so armed with a pen and paper and my bit of plastic I rang a couple of companies. One offered to ring me back and never did. Another company really did try their best to accomadate, my requests of half decent flight times, ie not at the dead of night. After two months of campaigning on a neighbour's behalf, I feel justified in lambasting Lunn Poly. My neighbour had hoped to have her first holiday away with her daughter for over three years and had booked a holiday with LP. At the time of booking she paid a deposit of £20 and received confirmation of the booking by post a week later. However, subsequent to this shereceived two phone calls at work from a gentleman unknown to her, who had copies ...

Iam slightly disappointed with Lunn Poly.In october last year I booked a holiday for me and my husband to Tenerife. We are travelling there this March. The staff there were really friendly and one of the staff found me a good offer. it was for the Ocean Palace apartments Las Americas. ...with Mum and she reckoned at that price we should go for it - we did. Prior to booking I used the hotel search facility from Lunn Poly's website (lunnpoly.co.uk I think) to check out the hotel and it looked quite nice. As go-now does not have on line booking as yet, I had to ring up on the Monday morning, was I too late? Not at all. Booking was quick and easy and the only extra cost on top of the £169 was travel insurance, which is to be expected. This was not forced upon us by go-now; in fact I asked them first! Anyway, enough of go-now. The very next day we were at the airport, it was a local departure too, very convenient. I should mention that there was one slight drawback with the booking, probably due to it being so last minute - we did not return to the same airport, but another local one.
