As an AVCE Travel & Tourism student I have a wide knowledge on travel agencies. One of my assignments was to review 4 agencies and give them a score out of 100. I gave Lunn Poly 85. As soon as entering the shop I was greeted immediately, asked if i needed any help and was offered a seat and asked where I wanted to go. The agent offered me three brochures and seemed genuinely interested, making conversation between her phonecalls regarding my enquiry. I found it difficult to find a holiday in the brochures to match my requirements, so the clerk used the computer. She was very polite and patient, and spent time helping me find the best holiday. She also spoke confidently about the area and discussed places to visit, proving to me that she had a good, genuine knowledge of the destination. The prices and charges were clearly explained and details were written down. Her sales technique was excellent, as she was persuasive without being forceful. The consultant offered all the information willingly and I was extremely impressed with the service. I would certainly recommend booking at this agency.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
I didn't really feel I could rate higher than this as you only have a very small amount of experience with them and whilst I trust you are right that they were great upon initial contact it is possible that the after-sales service could be different and as you haven't used them for a booking you're unable to say. Sorry!
