Advantages: transport, language ease Disadvantages: the rain
Utrecht was the first city I visited as a lone traveller from England. I was worried about many things; getting the transfers from the airport, finding the hotel and above all I spoke not a scrap of Dutch.
Stepping off the plane at Schipol - the airport in Amsterdam- I was greeted by easy to follow signs pointing me where I needed to be, to collect my luggage, then booths to buy train tickets, which I'd managed in under 2 minutes, and was quickly off on my way to get the train to Utrecht. Located right in the airport, the train station has ever so friendly staff that appear delighted to help you and will enter into a bit of friendly and polite banter with you too; so (after figuring out very quickly I was English) they helped me find the right train platform and off I went with a smile on my face.
The train came in the next 5 minutes ...
Advantages: Scenes are unfabricated and very life like, a plot is quite twisted but easy to follow Disadvantages: Very graphic and violent sex scenes isn't suitable for certain age groups
Set in China 1940s, in my opinion, this is one of the most intense and nerve-racking movies floored in the last 3 decades. A group of amateur actors in a moment of patriotism undertakes a deadly game to seduce and kill a top official and thus started this delightfully twisted cat and mouse chase, where for one to live the other must die.
The whole 160 min timeline of the movie is dedicated to the personification and crude dramatization of two of man's most inherent instincts: Lust and Caution
From very graphic sex scenes to gruesome violence the movie relentlessly upholds man's will to live. To realize just how much emotion can be compressed into 160 mins you have to see this movie and I guarantee you won't regret it.
I have seen both Brokeback Mountain and Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger and both of them pales in comparison to Lust ...
Advantages: Blendable colour with secret sparkles Disadvantages: Sharpening may be an issue
Urban Decay Lust Glide On Pencil review by Girlyshop.
Urban Decay have created some fantastic pencils in their time and this gorgeous purple shade is no exception.
It's not as vibrant as the colour on the outer casing of the pencil suggests, but it's still a really nice, bold colour.
The eyeliner texture is really soft but not waxy. The end of the pencil is quite rounded, so not for very thin lines. It goes on easily and if you blend it almost immediately you can achieve a smokey eyes look. If you leave it for the recommended 30 seconds it won't budge without makeup remover. It's soft enough to apply over the eyelid AND another nice feature of this eyeliner is if you apply and leave for a minute, then run your finger gently over the colour, light sparkles appear. The sparkles don't appear if you just apply and don't touch it ...
