I can easily say it's the worse place on the planet for Beggars, husslers, filty, smelly and very very noisy. As we've been to many other Arab countries over the last 10 years, we've always found people friendly, not in Luxor, they're so experienced at husstling they don't give up, No Thank you doesn't work, they argue and shout until you agree to buy what ever they're trying to sell you. They completely ruined our Xmas/New Year holiday we were looking forward to being there, the kids were so afraid from the grabbing and pulling, they didn't understand what's going on, at the end our 10 year old son refused to get out of the hotel, he was so frightened. A simple stroll by the river turn into a nervous break down, we had to plead and beg them to leave us alone, for each one that leaves, another take over and try and get us into a boat trip, taxi, donkey carraige, they couldn't careless where we'd like to go, they always stopped at their friend's shop and ordered us to get out and shop, most of these places are in the middle of nowhere, so we had to do what ever we were told.
Sorry for the low rating, but I think that your Review needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. I think that you need to write every product Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. It might also be helpful if you had a look at the Ciao guides to writing Reviews and Rating I found them really useful. If I can be of any help feel free to put a note in my gb. Rich
