When agreeing on a price for Horse and cariagge rides be certain to acatain they are charging you in egyptian pound and not english ie. if they say 10 pound make sure its egyptian and not english. As many tourists at the end of a ride have been left embarresed and as they use the two currencies they are in there right to argue there case that they were talking about sterling. When i was in Cairo they said half hour is 10 pound and i thought they meant egyptian and after the ride was left emmbarassed and confused. Many people in the hotel i stayed in suffered the same experiance as i did. Hopefully this would save lots of tourist money as the horse and carriage ride is a much enjoyed experiance.
This is supposed to be a review of Luxor, the city, not just a ride - if you add details about the city itself, it will make the review much more helpful.
