Advantages: beautiful, cheap, clean Disadvantages: at the far end of the strip
...One word for this hotel - AMAZING. The Luxor is a beautiful, well built hotel and is a must for anybody going to Las Vegas. I did visit all the hotels on the Strip and I have to say that the Luxor was defintely the one that stood out. Yes all the hotels are amazing on the outside, but the Luxor outshone the rest with its interior. I found the other hotels to be disappointing on the inside, but the Luxor lived up to the exterior. Inside, it carried on the Egyptian theme and was magnificent. Every little detail was paid attention to. The range of restaurants was excellent - you could have cheap to the very expensive. The hotel room was lovely - very big and very clean. This was one thing that I did notice and that was that the Luxor was clean, everywhere. This hotel is highly recommended and is at the cheap end of the hotels...

Advantages: no street crime, Disadvantages: fear of unrest, no beaches

There are no beaches but most hotels have gardens with swimming pools.

Advantages: Price Weather Facilitiesof Hotels Disadvantages: Heat in Summer smell
...When going to Egypt you bear a few things in mind, try and travel in the off peak seasons which normally start in October when the tempreature is beginning to calm down slightly, the price too is a lot more respectable. Luxor is in the upper Egypt region and is host to the Valley of the kings and many other grand wonders.
The people are so friendly you normally end up not trusting them, always on the look out for something to happen.
I have been to Luxor 7 times now and will always return, it provides excelent value for money and the food tours hotels and many more sights are simply a must.
A few of the larger temples are in Luxor including Karnak which plays host to a wonderful Light show in the evenings.
Many Tour operators fly into Luxor so a lowcost charter flight is obtainable. Although not required I would recomend that you...
