by the antique shops and galleries of Broadway, it is set within its own gardens. The Lygon Arms has 2 AA Rosettes and offers a superb dining experience. When booking the hotel, we strongly advise calling to confirm any dinner reservations or Spa Treatments to avoid disappointment.

Advantages: Good hotel, Value 4 money, nice rooms. Disadvantages: None
...I've worked at the hotel for three years nearly and I can say It's a really good hotel.
It's situated in the middle of Broadway which is in the middle of the Cotswolds, it's a perfect place to stay if you're a walker and walking the Cotswolds or if you're just visiting all the lovely shops for a couple of days, The Broadway Hotel is the place to go.
The building has looked the same since 1772 but has been there since 1575 and fits in perfectly with the village.
In my opinion the hotel is not really made for kids as the village in itself doesn't have anything fun for children to do. There's a park and an ice cream stand, which is about the extent of the things for kids to do around here, however it's a perfect place for tourists and adults love it.
When you get to the hotel you're greeted by the receptionist and helped...

Advantages: Location Disadvantages: Not for the faint hearted, needs a good clean
...I visited the Broadway Hotel in October 2007, and was very disappointed with the standards of accomidation in which the Broadway Hotel had to offer. I have never stayed in such a dirty and poorly presented Hotel, in all the years in which I have visited Blackpool. The rooms were fair, but in 5 days of staying, the toilet was not cleaned, the bins were not emptied and at no time was the rooms or beds freshened. The owner had a dog which sat on all the furniture in the lounge, and obviously had fleas, and the management would eagerly accomidate elderly bus tours, before any other customers. They would not cater for children unless you specifically asked them, as a child menu was not offered, unless you specified it, as they felt it was acceptable to give an 18 month old baby a pork chop for dinner, bone included, and they seldom cleaned...

...OK, obviously the USA make the ABSOLUTE BEST, BUT Thank gawd the UK has them too now!
Opposite Ealing Broadway Station you'll see a small SUBWAY shop but don't be putt off by its size. With a whole range of fillings and sauces:
chicken, bacon, turkey, cheese, tuna, meatballs (very nice!), chillies, cucumber, sweetcorn, peppers, olives, gherkins, salad, tomatoes.. to name but a few there no lack of fillings. Sauces range from, Mayo, ketchup, mustard etc.. anything to suit your tastebuds! With prices ranging from about £1.20 or a wicked lunch meal offer (£3.99) (including any sub, drink and a cookie/crisps) it really is a top lunch offer- and MUCH healthier than highstreet 'fast-food'. Unfortunately there are only 4 seats inside and a standing area to eat your sub. Its always very clean inside and everything looks very appetising. You...
